BIGBANG members completed their studies. They are university graduates and some of them completed their masters degree too. Their company does not allow kids to drop out. They need to do well in school. Daesung's dad didn't want him to become a singer. He wanted him to live a normal life. But Daesung was determined to join the group, and YG didn't want him to debut with a heavy heart. So, they did whatever means to convince his dad to see him. When BIGBANG debuted, they were called the ugly group. And yes, Daesung was probably the easiest target for the haters. Tbh, South Koreans are generally judgemental when it comes to physical features, so no matter how good looking someone is, they will still find something to point out. Anyway, Daesung's acceptance of his unique features made others love him. Anyway, I actually am thankful you didn't just skip the last member. I am a VIP since 2006, so I reminisce 10 years of their discography with Seungri. He is part of the past, and that won't change. It can't be erased or forgotten. So its no big deal to get to know who he was. I am disappointed that he let this happen to himself, but it is what it is. I will remember the good memories of the past but I am moving forward with the current 3 members.

You’re actually correct. Their light stick that was designed by G dragon actually is a lotus flower, and a crown. It also has five petals/points to represent the five original members. Flowers actually come up a lot in their song titles and lyrics. “Flower road” and even in G dragons newest song “home sweet home” he mentioned petals and flowers. Usually there’s symbolism behind it, but I don’t wanna spoil that for you.

Why none is talking about the youngest guy of the group back then is because as a fellow VIP the rules since he did what he did, is that he shall not be named anymore. The name won't be spoken out of a true VIP, what he did that affected the members won't ever be forgiven nor forgotten. But we know that he was a part of our old days when BIGBANG was a new born family, so me personally as a VIP don't mind anyone liking or commenting good stuff that he did then because we all did. BIGBANG's whole history together spans from 2006-2017, and that includes the youngest member, Seungri. There's nothing wrong getting to know who he was like in the past. You don't see BIGBANG members removing him. He is still there. His voice and music is still there. And they aren't erasing it because its part of their history. it happened. Its done. And even in kpop first generation there's the maknae but just to say someone was the eldest(the leader) and then the younger and youngest... but once BIGBANG debuted as they had 2 Seunghyuns in their group they addressed to Seungri as the maknae instead of calling him by their name or stage name in interviews during their debut era and since Seungri was funny, cute and savage other group started to have a "maknae position" (cute, funy, savage) because of Seungri...when it comes to fandom name is true BIGBANG was the first to give the name to their fandom... YG (as in YG Entertainment) himself was part of the group Seo Taiji and Boys where he got his start. Seo Taiji was the original self-producing/writing singer-songerwriter idol. It wasn't uncommon at all for acts to be self-produced or even self-managed early on. Thank you for your reaction Jamie and i appreciate you for being open minded about Seungri. I’m a GD bias and a VIP who prefer to give Seungri the benefit of a doubt since his involvement in BS case has 2 side of stories and it’s thick with political involvement as well. I still would enjoy and appreciate his existence time as well as talent in the group and for sure you’d react just based on what you feel too, not others. By taking this stand i’d not feel guilty if turns out he’s just a pitiful scapegoat. But if he’s indeed guilty, well he had already served his sentence in jail and people could change. How a terrible world it’d be if you can’t give a second chance to those who repented

Burning Sun 2018 Is With Kim sang kyo, He was kicked and arrested by the police, he was caught harrasing a drunk female costumer on that club ,Burning Sun. It has a CCTV. He made an allegation 1 month after that happened. He had an inside employee who helped him. The 1 that was fired by the Club because of harrasing his female co worker . Seungri was not the owner of the club. He was just a guest DJ of the club. The club by the way was cleared by The police and take note all of people thought he owns the club coz the1 of the owner got the same name....The owner actually apologise to Seungri

I just rewatched Still Life MV and their MAMA performance of Home Sweet Home, and I read the lyrics to both songs too, yet I see no mention of 5; in fact, Still Life explicitly mentions 4 throughout the MV, in both lyrics and imagery. I see you in this comment section talking about "proof" this and "evidence" that, but I have yet to see you provide any actual evidence for your views...

Daesung's father was protecting him. He was below average when it comes to looks and the Koreans usually bullies those who are not handsome/beautiful so you can just imagine the fear of his father and what might happen to Daesung if he fails. I recommend watching the Bigbang Documentary (from when they were still trainees) and how them 5 were chose to debut instead of 6 or just 4.
