I love the beginning and like the "chant", but the middle is a bit boring. I sometimes play the beginning (before the Trio starts) at funerals.

@@willemvantwillertorganist Well here it is a number of years later and I've listened to it several times again and some other performances. It got stuck in my head and I was intertwining it with Fauré's Pavane . . . written when Guilmant was 50.

Why does he bother playing the pedal line? Maybe he doesn't. It is totally inaudible.

Please add some bass sound extra, indeed the bass of this organ without couple is soft but there is still a bass.
