as a foreigner even i like this martial arts called kalaripayattu. why does the indian movies promote this type of martial arts in moves. indian movies has reach across the globe. especially the south movies should promote it even more beyond politics. i am in my early 40. but i still wish i could learn this art form. i feel like i can live a more healthy life that way.

With all due respect call it a fitness practice not a martial arts, let me make an example we Indians have cricket which im proud that it has one of the best teams in the world, in the same way i can't be proud of an useless art that can't prove itself, We have MMA a combat sport that specificly can test the authenticity and effectiveness of martial arts from all around the world, prove your martial art is worth respect like Khabib Nurmagomedov proved Sambo is a martial arts,to be honest most of us never heard of sambo before he used it to dominate everyone, im not saying asking a world titile atleast a national or even a state level trophy will suffice, insted u practice a dead arts in closed controlled courters gave urself a title and scam your students, no better than the Chinese tai chi and wing chung and all that bullcrap
