Je les ai vu à Paris dans les années 2000.Bon même s'ils y passent très régulièrement.La capitale...🙂 J'aimerais bien les voir en configuration arènes en extérieur. Leí muchos comentarios con críticas sobre la voz de Morten, son respetables. Personalmente a mi me agrada como canta Morten, su voz se adapta a cualquier versión, a cualquier estilo , pocos cantantes lo hacen y pocos como él cantan canciones de otros colegas, Morten canta todo. Lógico que con los años todo cambia, aún es maravillosa su voz, estuve en un show en 2022 y fue fantástico! Gracias A-HA-MORTEN por tantos años de arte musical! Bravo!!!👏👏👏❤️

Love this song and the new production spin to it. Quite astonished though that Morten’s voice in the song was merely a whisper and could barely be heard - totally flat. 😲

Sadly, I don’t think that’s the case. Morten actually has been having trouble with volume for a while now. I think he’s had to use a megaphone for Manhattan Skyline since 2008, but I know for sure since ‘09. He strained his vocal cords in the late 80’s, I believe while recording Out Of Blue Comes Green. the style of EOTS and MB did not have vocal gymnastics in either of the albums, and neither did any other album afterwards. You can actually hear Morten’s vocal cords wearing out as early as 1994. Look up “a-ha live in South America” and I think you’re going to find some voice cracking in I’ve Been Losing You, Manhattan Skyline, and Swing Of Things.

Don’t get me wrong, Morten is still wonderful, and the MTV unplugged stuff was a cool and ingenious way to deliver a great performance despite an aging voice.

Isn't it the task of the technicians to make sure that he can be heard well? I mean so he doesn't have to strain his voice to make himself heard. Maybe in the beginning of his career he sang without much consideration of hurting his voice. That must have changed after he actually did hurt his voice. There is so much noise around him on stage, from the musicians, the audience. It's certainly not easy to keep up with all this. And he is right when he says that his voice is the most sensitive instrument on there.

In 2018 there was a part of the tour in January and February. And a part in June, July and August. Maybe to preserve yourself.🤔 It's never easy for a singer. However, they did a lot of great tours since their beginning Even recently in 2022 with 5 months of touring. In the middle of the last tour a nasty tracheitis for the singer. Some dates canceled for the 1st time...Thanks to them to make us dream a little live, CD, DVD, etc. 😎❤️
