Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

It is a cover of an Everly Brothers song but this has a-ha's unique personality all over it. Wonderfully dramatic (but sill subtle), heart-breaking and cinematic all in one song. Great reaction !!! More a-ha please !!!

Great reaction! This is a-ha's only cover released on album. They have been very productive themselves, and have had enough songs to take off. A-ha met Phil Everly through their manager, Terry Slater, who had played with The Everly Brothers in the 60s. They decided to cover the song as a tribute to The Everly Brothers, and each of them received an Everly Brothers-style guitar, all from the same tree, as thanks for the cover. The guitars have been in use throughout the band's career, and especially Morten Harket has used his guitar a lot in his solo career. The band kept in touch with Phil Everly and his family. The members of the band are shown in the video, but not as part of the action, and yes, it is Morten Harket who you can see singing at the end. I recommend that you react to the sequel to Take on me, The sun always shines on TV. It's epic!

A-ha did a great job with this song. They actually have a large catalog of music. Another song I love by them is called “I Wish I Cared.” Your wife has a beautiful smile! She has no reason to be shy…she has a great screen presence! 🤗 God bless you both❣️

@@intothesunset3 I think so, too. They actually have a lot of really great songs. Morten Harket has such a beautiful voice. The only other person out there with a voice that could possibly compare (in my humble opinion) would be Freddy Curci, from the Canadian band Sheriff. I think they were a one hit wonder back in the 80’s with the song When I’m With You!

I loved the few songs I knew by them in the 80's, but became a bigger fan in the early 2000's when I saw their “Live at Valhall- Homecoming” concert on DVD and loved every song on it. I agree about Morten's voice! I didn't remember “When I’m With You,” I just listened to it…Freddy Curci does have a beautiful voice too! You might like the voice of Owe Randow, of the Norwegian duo Hansen/Randow, if you haven't heard him… someone uploaded Owe’s song “It Was You” and put “is not Morten Harket” in the title because his voice gets mistaken for Morten’s so often!

If you like sad songs, you should react to the performance of Take On Me at MTV unplugged. A total different vibe, more emotional than the one in the original music video.

The video was directed by Steve Barron. The theme of the video is a robbery gone wrong.The video was filmed entirely with a specific technique of mobile cameras, and it was filmed in Big Timber, Montana.

Great reaction♥ Wish you had heard the Everly Brothers' version first (one of my favorite songs of all time), but I love a-ha's cover too, especially their live performances of it. I would suggest the official video of a-ha "The Sun Always Shines on TV" or "Summer Moved On."

Classic Everly Brothers song. You liked the Ah Ha version. I like the Everly Brothers version better. I heard the Everly Brothers first. Although I like the sound of this band ~ I prefer the Everly Brothers version ~ theirs conveyed sadness ~ while this version leaves me feeling depressed 😔
