Most new viewers forget that this video was made more then 30 years ago, there was no computer, no special effects, no internet or no modern technics. So seeing that video in the 80's was like magic, it was freaking bizar. The magic was so big, that the video became bigger then the song.

Welcome to a-ha, they are from Norway , the singer is morten harket, probably one of the best voices in music, he actually turned 61 yesterday and still sings just as good. The keyboard player wrote that famous synth rift when he was only 15 which makes that synth rift 42 years old lol. This video also is arguably the best music video ever made. You should checkout their follow up single to this, the sun always shines on tv, the video begins were take on me ends. soooooo many great songs from them and with morten’s amazing voice, you are in fir a treat if you decide to check them out. I search for reactions to this song regularly. Love it! Those are real hand done drawings! It was before computer art programs. Masterpiece! A lot of the guy reactors close their eyes because the music is so good, and viewers are screaming at them because they missed the video! Lol. Wow I can't believe that was 35 years ago. I'm old enough when that video came out. That really added more grey to my beard. Two other videos that are done like that came out the same time are Strange Animal & Criminal Mind by Gowan. Those are much more detailed (sorry age has given me a brain fart to give you the correct term.) Lawence Gowan to be exact. Worth a look if you enjoyed this video. Young lady thanks for making me feel young again even for a short while this morning with my coffee.

Baby Girl, If you liked this, I think you would also like IN THIS WORLD by Moby. This dude went ta black church and recorded this lady OH MY GOD SIIIINGIIIN! Then he took it to his studio and mixed her with a club beat.... It really works, is amazing and has a cute little video to go with it. Wish I could send you some cash but us disabled veterans don't get squat from the government to live on, sorry. But anyways, I hope you get time to to check out Moby whose great grand dad, BTW, wrote MOBY DICK! Also, The Outsiders was one of my favorite books in high school. Along with To Kill a Mockingbird. Funny fact A-Ha performed live ONCE. At the Country Music Awards. No prior experience and they put them on the stage at the grand ol opry. Needless to say they choked and we never heard from them again. The song did well though
