Gorgeous! I just told my husband the other day I wanted a muff and he didn't know what it was. Now I can show him and have the directions to make a beautiful one for myself. The pocket is a wonderful idea. 😍

Great tutorial Laura! They sell those fluffy throws for less than 10 bucks we could make quite a few muffs with them and spend way less than usual for yardage.

Just finished making this with faux bear fur. Will use it in Regency era costuming. I tried using a metal purse zipper, Wrong answer! The metal zipper was too inflexible, I ripped it out and put in a soft zipper. Had a bit of trouble with the fur getting caught in the zipper so I carefully cut a bit of the fur away from the zipper. Does not affect appearance at all. Also, instead of putting the loop in the seam I am attaching it to the zipper pull. The zipper pull gets a bit lost in the fur so this will help me find it. Thank you for the great pattern & clear instructions!

I’m going to be making a few of these with a webbing strap and buckle and maybe zipper pocket for my husband who is a hunter and some friends with camo material and something cozy for the liner ofcourse! 😆❤️thank you!i was thinking the pocket would be awesome to not drop phone or keys in the woods or for hand warmers!

I had little white rabbit fur muffs when I was a little girl in the 1950's. One was a little purse with a doll head. I had ear muffs to match. I want to make this for my granddaughter. I ordered one and gave it to her but it is stiff and not soft. This one is perfect if I can find the fabric. Thank you.

I’m guessing you’re using a 1/2” seam allowance generally? I hope it’s enough! I don’t think I have enough fabric to remake it if it’s too small 😅
