My Dr and I walked to the synagogue near the clinic, he bought me a menorah 🕎 we celebrated Hanukah in our unit. It’s a miracle we didn’t start a fire! The flames would get high and stay that way. I decorated every year for my Dr. We still stay in touch.

Shalom, Julie. We are not the judge, the Pharisees, or the Holy Spirit. Just as we don't coerce our brethren whether they should celebrate the Feasts, Sabbath, or keep kosher (Colossians 2:16), we don't direct Gentile Christians in how they choose to celebrate our Savior's birth. God knows your heart, and He we will lead you in how to serve Him faithfully. Our decisions should always be inclined by His direction through love, and not by fear. If any decision we make is fear based, it's by Satan's persuasion. Blessings, Joshua and Caleb

God tells us not to adopt what the nations were doing and then say we're doing it to him. I don't think a video like this helps. Mixing pagan songs with truth about the historical Maccabees is kinda like what Israel was doing mixing other worship to the True God. Once you've shaken off the shackles of bondage to paganism don't again get entangled. Stay strong sis. Lots of of have let idols go, let's stick with it. God is going to say to the faithful servant, well done. Nothing's better than that.

We don't believe so, but that decision is still between you and the Holy Spirit. In Islam you can't even depict Muhammad because that would be a form of idolatry. Yet, we have actors play Yeshua because it's an outstanding way to witness His love. A nativity scene is also a visual to remind us of God's love. That's the same reason people wear crosses around their necks, to show the world that this symbol of a curse and death became the vehicle to bring us life! Blessings.

I feel like this video might be a little confusing for anyone who doesn't know what Chanukah is about. Chanukah, is not the Jewish Christmas, and has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus. Chanukah is a reminder of how the Greeks came into God's obedient people and tried to force them to eat swines flesh, join wrestling in the gymnasiums ( usually naked), immorality, stop circumcision, and to cast aside the commandments of the God of their Fathers. The Greeks wanted them to stop being different and become one people. It was, "Do as Thou Wilt",.... but,... you get found to be keeping the commandments of God? And you would be publicly executed. There is a birthday involved however. It's the birthday of the pagan god Zeus! December 25th. The Greek conquerers, went into the temple of God on Zeus birthday, and desecrated it by sacrifing a pig to Zeus on the altar and destroying everything. Exactly 3 years later to the very day, the Maccabees took back the temple against unsurmountable odds. They broke down the desecrated altar, removed everything desecrated, built a new altar, and rededicated the temple back to the One True God. It was an 8 day rededication. God's people remembered this victory every year. Even Jesus went up to this celebration, it was winter time, and He stated: I AM the Light of the World. The menorah and the Chanukia are both lit with a light called the Shamash. It's the light that lights the other lights. Jesus used that word. He said I AM the Shamash of the World.

Sadly several things have been changed in the Bible to justify the man-made Trinity trinitarian indoctrination and God called him the Prince of Peace. Yeshua is the 1st of all creation. The LIGHT of life is in Him. All things were created for him and through him. Psalms 110:4 LORD YEHOVAH swore and will not lie: "You are Priest to eternity in the likeness of Melchizedek.” Philippians 2:5-7 For let this mind be in you which was also in Messiah Yeshua who being in the form of Elohim did not regard equality with Elohim a matter to be grasped, but emptied himself taking the form of a servant and came to be in the likeness of men. 2:11 and every tongue should confess that Yeshua Messiah is Master to the esteem of Elohim the Father. Revelation 1:4... Grace to you and peace from The One Who is, and was, and is coming, and from The Seven Spirits which are before his throne,

We celebrate the birth of our Savior at this time of year because it's the only time the world recognizes Yeshua's birth. That's why we make these silly videos to connect to lost, not necessarily the Pharisee. It would be different if we knew the exact day of Yeshua's birth, but we don't. Our Jewish mother is an orphan, and we don't know the exact day of her birth, but we choose to celebrate it on a predetermined day whether it's the true day or not. There's always a possibility that some time in history, Satan selected that specific day to honor a demon. But that coincides with literally every day on the calendar, if you look far enough. Although we personally don't hang stockings, we don't judge those who do. Satan cannot pervert socks, trees, or rainbows in our eyes. Blessings!
