A Happy Life Philosophy

Health
When either Carl or I are experiencing symptoms of poor health, we use this mental checklist to make sure we have our priorities in order before exploring more complex solutions or remedies.
The following 5 essential nutrients need to be acquired in their highest quality forms, prioritizing oxygen and going down the list in order.
1. Oxygen
2. Water
3. Rest
4. Food
5. Movement
A majority of our health problems tend to be solved with Oxygen, Water and Rest, and after we begin to feel better, we use more food and movement to build up our physical strength.

Spirituality
Many of our beliefs are reinforced by our personal study and practice of Pranic Healing as taught and modernized by Master Choa Kok Sui. We are hoping that the following 3 points will be helpful and relatable for everyone.
• Have awareness of the energy body and that we are more than just our physical bodies.
• The energy body needs to be strengthened and maintained. To do this, activate the heart and crown by sending love to yourself, your community, all living beings and the earth.
• All religions, spiritual practices and healing modalities work towards the same universal truths.

Finances
The last block on the bottom row of this pyramid is something that we used to overlook, but now we see it as equally as foundational as our physical and spiritual health. Respect thy laws of material abundance and prosperity:
• End every month with more money than the last.
• Acquire and manage as many appreciating assets as possible e.g. stocks, real-estate, bitcoin/digital assets, business/customers, brand/intellectual property, commodities, collectibles.
• Use low-interest debt whenever possible.
• Invest in a better tax strategy every year.
• Give money to others and be free.

Relationships
We view relationships and communication as one of the same. The 4-step process of Non-Violent Communication as outlined by Marshall Rosenberg is what we think to be the most useful process that helps to create relationships that are mutually rewarding.
1. Observe without bias.
2. Identify and express feelings.
3. Identify and express needs.
4. Make requests without expectations.

Ambition
This is the last block before we move up to A Happy Life. When all the previously mentioned blocks are balanced and strong, we have the privilege of focusing on our own unique ambitions in life.
• Focus on what’s most interesting! Don’t over think it.
• Overestimate what is possible in 10-years and Underestimate what is possible in 1-year.
• The reward of accomplishing something is the freedom to wonder, “What’s next?”
