I m Hispanic and speak Spanish. My take on that driver’s comment is that he is upset that this great team of father and son is “taking work away from other people”. If other people had wanted the job, it wouldn’t have gotten so bad it took two hours to clear it. They took work no one else wanted. As for the quality of their work, even if they were the worst landscapers in the world, they left that area in a far better state than they found it. Criticizing the efforts of someone that’s contributing their time and equipment to improve their community is a whole new level of entitlement. Shame on that guy for saying anything other than “Thank you.”
