Perfect beginning. I loved that you didn’t just snip all those bushes but seriously trimmed them down to human, manageable height and mostly put them back into their borders. So glad the ivy is history soon. Personally, I’m a take everything overgrown way down or totally out in order to able to see the opened up space and kinda start over.

I think the reason more and more wild animals are coming into urban areas is because we are taking the land for development. The red fox is not native to North America. It was brought over by the British so they could have fox hunts. All animals are optimistic and will look for easy food when food and land is scarce. Here in Cedar Hill, Missouri, USA we have seen black bear, Armadillo moving into the area. That English Ivy is terribly invasive and can damage the tuck pointing on the brick, get under siding, roofs trim around windows. It needs to managed if you are going to allow it on your property, as are all vines.
@acreslawncare3 ай бұрын
That’s a good point . Yes English Ivy is the worst 😬👍

Doing the driveway first was a nice way of opening up the space. I'm impressed you thought of the public area, pedestrians there were losing access. Also liked the hedge trimmer work, you refound a lot of area quickly, even the property line as the chain link fence. I think our area has more trouble with Raccoons and maybe Skunks. Good you are getting basics back as the front door access, light to the windows and the safety light at the door.

Great work here. Looking forward to part 2. Wow.. That front driveway needs to be pressure washed. 😊 Ivy looks beautiful but it is so destructive to the brickwork.. it will eventually work it's way into the window frame. Glad it will be gone. Sorry to see the Budleia get cut back. Love Cottoneaster.. red berries.. so pretty. Lots of pretty plants here. Nice they are being trimmed & the trash in the area is getting cleaned up. 😊

I think I would be terrified to drive there. The ivy is definitely invasive. If one wants it on their homes, it should be carefully maintained. The bramble are always such a mess. We live right down from a beautiful natural green space along the river. There used to be many different animals roaming in there until developers built more condos/apartments on each side of it. Enjoying your videos and looking forward to part 2. 🇨🇦🇨🇦
