Helen Khan, who died last year, age 102, introduced me to Joan Miró’s works, some 30 odd years ago.

I do see something of a mystery in that painting let me know if I have touched on something. I see a man possibly struggling with his own understanding or interpretation of divine thinking and how he reflects the human mind and celestial spirit to connect as one force. Thank you for sharing your video. God bless you all.

I was a disciple of his for many years until I finally found a style of my own. A visit to the Foundation on Mallorca is highly-recommended. Miro's work is joyous and just thirty minutes from here, in Edinburgh Scotland, there are two large bronze sculptures of his. I hope to go back to Mallorca some day and would prefer not to return. I wonder if there is a market for Scottish Fauvism there?

In 1937-8 the danger of fascism and the feeling of arriving a war world were evident: this is the fear in the eyes of the selfportrait

The obvious conscription in the nuance neo- modernist expression of contemporary ideals reflected in the organization and juxtaposition of proportional anatomical reference to a conceptual reference blah blah blah. It’s crap. So is every single random blob splat & scrape. Sophistication in the presentation is required in order to justify the $ spent & conserve momentum in the hype to increase value. After all of the coolest/most influential person sez so, I’m gonna do it too. I’m cool too ya know!

Absurd interpretation. Miro was not speaking to the year 2020. You can't just talk about your subjective feelings and pretend that's what the artist felt too.
