My aunt has had the same exact haircut since the 70s. It’s her signature look and I love it. I also had a similar haircut when my kids were very young and I loved it. Looks wonderful on you. And I love the bright white. My hair has two bright white streaks in front and want more. 😊

I did exactly what you did when I tried progressive lenses and about the same time too. However, I’m still being stubborn 😂 I’m still in the early stages of the process of changing my mindset with my eating habits, but I’m heading in the right direction! I’ve been surprised by the fact that making healthy choices has actually turned out to be cheaper than “junk” food! It would be great if you made a video explaining why that’s the case. I spent some time researching “sugar addiction” and how much sugar is in everything. And how lacking in nutrients most packaged foods are. So while I eat a bit more at each healthier meal, I don’t eat in between meals because my body doesn’t think it’s starving anymore. It’s shocking that most overweight people (like myself) are actually malnourished. But like you said, we can’t do better until we know better 😁

Progressives do take a little getting used to if you’ve never had them before. But they are very perfect in comparison to the ones that have the lines between distance and reading. They used to come in 3 sections too, distance, mid range, reading. It is horrible to look up and your eyes fall right on the line. Especially if you are walking down stairs. 🤯😖

What you experienced initially with your new progressives is very typical. I wish all my patients that initially have difficulty with them would give them a good trial period. I experienced the same symptoms as you did when I got my first pair, and I know everything about them ( I thought I would be immune to the adaptation period !]. But I plowed thru the initial difficulty and finally my brain and eyes clicked to work together. I plan to get on the road someday, but for now I’ll follow your adventures! Safe Travels!

Glad you like them. My husband loved them. I tried progressive once and didn't like the narrow vision. I have no problem with lined glasses. I love carrots but was tired of peeling and cutting. But, the baby carrots have a horrible after taste to them. I tried buying the organic baby carrots and they don't.

Love it! Progressive is what I need. I wear contacts and hate glasses. I have reading glasses and computer glasses. My dad used to laugh at me. "You wear contacts and still need glasses!" Your hair is perfect! After years of waist length very thick hair, mine had to go. I wear it short, now. I'd love to try the cut you have, but I'm a big chicken. It looks great on you, but I dunno about me. I wish I could make myself eat as healthy as you do. So far, it's a losing battle. You are a wonderful inspiration to us older gals. Loved the grocery haul. Like you, it took me a few years to switch over to organic. I just kept adding in more and more things over time. I love canned artichoke hearts also. They are great in salads. Your new glasses look good on you and your new haircut suits you perfectly. I had the same struggles as you when I first starting wearing progressives. I absolutely hated them. It took awhile but I finally got used to them. Your lunch looked yummy.

I was having the same issue with my glasses. I had one pair to read and a different pair for distance. I would always have to carry both pairs where I went. So irritating! I like your frames. Very bold and stylish. I hate my progressives. I do wear them when on the computer, but one day driving I thought I was turning into a parking lot drive. It was maybe a pull in at one time, but had been cut out to be a drainage ditch. Looking down through my glasses I couldn't see that. Lucky I moved my head down before I ran my car, a regular sedan, into it.

Love the birthday card thats so you lol, you look so great today. The hair cut, new glasses and your outfit love it all. I went to organic and farmers market veggies and fruit, fresh eggs etc. out of desperation. The store veggies and anything fresh was never fresh, they are old and never lasted over 1 day or two. Got so tired of throwing away all that money. So fortunately I have other options and friends that have wonderful gardens. A farmers market that sells everything plus a heath food store that also sells organic veggies, meats and everything else. I look itvas Im not throwing my money away anymore. I may pay more but Ibget toneatt it all and not waist any. SAFE TRAVELS MY FRIEND ❤😎

Gale Force: Heres my 2 cents for the day as far as the topic of organics. I'm sure there will be some in LuLu land that will think I'm coming off as Debbie Downer; but oh well.... 1) I worked long and hard to raise two children and be successful in a stressful and thankless career. If I'm not worthy of the few extra pennies it takes to eat and drink organic........ who is? Yes, it is pricier when you are living on a tight budget. It becomes easier with a little attitude shift. You can find those pennies when you stop purchasing sweet drinks, junk food and eating out. 2) Some medical conditions (ie: fatty non alcoholic liver) are notorious for trapping and holding on to the antibiotics and pesticides found in our food supplies. I drink a glass of wine once or twice a year, but have the liver of a heavy drinker. Why in the world would I ingest things that will only make the condition worse? Pesticides, antibiotics given to chicken and beef and just plain fat gets trapped in the layers of fat in a faulty liver and can't be processed out. 3) We are all aging and our bodies don't handle and process things as they did when we were young and our organs hadn't begun to break down. For the most part you are what you eat. 😢 Listen carefully, thats the sound of me stepping down from my soap box!

the progressives work well for me, just had to give it time!! and the transitions from plain glass to sunglasses is a must have!! I just walk outside and they change, walk back inside they change back!! luxurious!! ❤️

hi Joy!! the glasses that get light/dark are all transitions. my glasses are progressive (3 prescriptions in 1, one progresses to the next within the same lens). and mine are also transitional glasses too, when I go outside during the day, they transition to sunglasses and go back to plain glass when I come inside. they are really wonderful!!!

I have 5 oz. of grain (rice, sweet potato, quinoa) at each meal. when I was on the reducing plan I had 4 oz. servings at breakfast and dinner only.
