Doing your part and contributing for the use of their parking lots and restrooms is a good thing. Relationships need balance and reciprocity. The Starbucks in my town of SF have removed nearly all inside seating due to so many people using the Wi-Fi and tables with their laptops for hours on end. Now only a few Starbucks offer inside seating. All the people who used without giving appropriately ruined it for the rest of us.

Hi Lulu your fridge is so tidy and organised. I see you use the whole avacardo. I have discovered the best way to store half avacardos is to put it in a plastic bag the thickness of a zip lock bag. Then poke it down into the corner and let all the air out. Then twist the bag tightly around the avacardo. The avacardo lasts a day or so longer than the fancy avacado storage gadgets I have tried.

@@kb1759 Just veg, meat, sweet potatoes, mushrooms the fruit we do eat are a variety of berries. No snacks, drinks other than water or tea. We also try to get in 10,000 steps a day. Our only treat is one dark chocolate a day. We both feel great and my husband who is a diabetic his numbers are way down. We do not plan on going back to our old eating habits. Good luck. PS our Doctor approves

That was interesting. I just wish you had more headroom when your sitting there. A shorter padded stool that folds up and slide your cooler to the back doors, long ways along the door. I got a stool from Amazon, nice padded, swivel seat and it has the adjustable legs. Actually it’s a shower stool. The only thing is it doesn’t fold. But if you had the cooler parallel to the back doors you’d have a lot of space. I’m just thinking of what I would do. Now your cooler may be too long for that, I’m not sure.

How this reminded me on our camping trips with tent and car through Scandinavia! All tourists were complaining about the food prices and we bought potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions, oats and cherries, picking up raspberries, blueberries, mushrooms… depending on the time and the weather… and we were living like king and queen. Your daughter is right! Now I prefer holiday houses at the sea shore, but I’m doing the same. Fortunately I love cooking and preparing food a lot, maybe even a little too much… I’ll make it easier, more time for exploring the area, swimming in the sea, reading, singing, painting, knitting. Lulu, you’re soo disciplined on your diet. I had 2 tostadas and only ate the tops. I didn’t eat the shell. I burnout on salads real quick. I might make black bean sliders this weekend. May I suggest - your metal screen for the cook top when out side - maybe put it between the stove and your blue cabinets...just to protect them. Lulu, I had to put in too much effort to slide my cooler around in my van..... and I was always having to move it around. On a whim, I got some of those "furniture movers" (plastic disks with dense foam on one side) and placed them underneath the cooler. I used Gorilla poster putty to hold them in place just in case I changed my mind. It worked well enough that I began to think about improvements right off the bat. I made the decision to invest in more expensive ones from Walmart -- way heavier-duty and much larger (4-6"??), which ended up working better. Sidenote: In the category of For What it's Worth, Vinegar will lose its smell after it dries. :) Sidenote #3: I'll be darned..... you're weighing veggies. Sidenote #4: Now you have me wondering if you could convert a heavy-duty lazy-Susan as a swivel seat on top of the cooler. Maybe you could convert a stadium seat?

when I stopped snacking, stopped eating in between meals 100%, TRUST ME, when it's mealtime, you'll be HUNGRY!! and you'll eat it all! if we can eat the volumes it takes to become overweight, we can eat the volumes it takes to stay satisfied and nourished while losing weight. that's just my experience!! 😊

Hi Lulu! Yeah you are in Indiana. Today Saturday we are in Shreveport Louisiana. It piured earlier and highways were closed due to flooding ...i have never seen this on a highway. What a mess! We made it to a Cracker Barrel for the night. Oh, i cannot get over how much food you eat twice a day ...Idont think that I could do eat that much. Just sayin. Thats me. I enjoy watching and listening to you. Time for bed. I did have a small salad for my dinner. Love your daughters saying!. 👍😉 Stay safe.

hi Debra!! I eat three times a day, not twice!! when I don't eat at all in between, never, when mealtime comes it needs to have volume so I stay nourished and satisfied until the next meal, just sayin, that's me!! glad you made it safely to Cracker Barrel!! ENJOY!!!
