I agree that everyone is called to either go to the mission field or support it in someway with their home or abroad, but really, we started calling the missionaries so that we wouldn’t have to call them apostles which is what a lot of them really are. Not saying that that is all that apostles do, but many that we call missionaries that are sent by the Holy Ghost and the church, I really functioning in the ministry gift of the apostle.
