​@@pinkcity4449 I mean... sometimes that sort of thing is just shorthand because you can't write a paragraph about everyone when there's 20+ people in a group, and some of it is just the type of fan (and possibly age group) and you can't do much about it, and it will probably get better over time naturally. Eg. plenty of Shawols and casual fans for yeears (and plenty still, but it's not as common anymore) acted like the only defining thing about Key (my ult-bias) was his "diva" side, even though he's always been SO much more than that from the beginning, but it hasn't hurt his career or his real fans and it's gotten better over time... I try to think of it like: a) I'm the type who overthinks personality, likes unconventional types, and tends towards too much meta-analysis, and that's common enough in fandom, but the majority of people aren't going to be like that and there's always going to be a lot of people who take way longer to get over basic stereotypes, will like/dislike people based on those basic stereotypes, and take way longer to notice the deeper stuff, and that's... annoying but applies to humans everywhere in life, there's nothing much to be done about it. The bigger the a fandom gets, the more people there'll be who care about what you care about, but the number of people who disagree with you will also get bigger. b) The longer people stay in a fandom the more complex their understanding of the members will be, so it'll get better over time. As long as a group is collecting new fans really fast there's going to be a lot of people stereotyping members at first. That just comes with popularity. It may or may not get better as the fandom and members age up a bit; Shawols have definitely mellowed out and on average have a more well-rounded and empathetic understanding of all the members compared to what I remember 10 years ago (on average - of course there's always going to be a lot of exceptions), and the "images" of all the members have become a lot more well-rounded than they were in the first half of their career - as they got older there were more opportunities to gain more control over their own image and show what they wanted. I feel like it's really hard when there's so many members and videos are always going to be edited for drama and cut down to highlight reels, but I think people will figure it out eventually.

I’m a new nctzen (since Universe era^^). I really didn’t believe I’d ever be able to choose a bias because i just love all of the guys of NCT so much. But the more I’ve gotten into NCT, the more I’m drawn to Haechan. Looking at how he has worked so hard over the years I really hope he gets everything he deserves soon and by deserves I mean the world. Please, how and to whom do I beg to get him his deserving promo and solo gigs. There's literally nothing he can't do yet there's little to none that he's done except for when it benefits the whole group. He's so genuine and passionate and never misses to give his best in everything and that, unfortunately, makes it even more painful to watch because he gets absolutely nothing from the company outside of group activities.
