Hi, everybody
This time we had very productive days! we caught a Moose on camera traps, it's a pity that she didn't record the video, but it's already our fault. We sorted out the camera trap and found a more suitable place for it.
We are one step closer to our goal, we have dug a hole a meter deep! It was heavy soil (clay), we coped and now we are waiting for an easier job!

Hey guys - you come camping when you have time off - what are your "regular jobs"- that keep you away from the forest? AND WHAT WOULD DO if a Bear approached you? The huge logs you harvested are for the dugout - YES? Serious work on the dugout. Hope. you had some good food and drink and a rest before proceeding?

The forest is so beautiful, lush and bright green. Since you brought it up, the bear droppings, there is at least one out there which means there is more, but how do you protect yourselves in case of an unwelcome encounter? I know you have an ax and chain saw, but you do bring other things to keep you safe, correct?? You both work so hard at your projects and you are so comfortable in the forest, I am sure knowledgeable of all the sounds. Love your videos. Please stay safe and take care.

Nice progress on the dugout inspite of the rain and mosquitos...sure you know how dangerous the moose can be. I find it interesting that they are an aquatic animal, without which they would not survive. I still can't figure how they survive winter when all the water is frozen.

Good to see you are at the stage where you are collecting the logs to build with. You are going to need about 4-5x as many as the cabin. I take it that all that dirt will be back filled against the walls and roof for insulation? Gotta wonder, When are we going to see Hugo met with Perry? I thought you were going to bring him to the house a while ago. Anyway, I enjoy watching the two of you work together. I envy you the place, the quiet and the fresh air and water. I'd have to go about 250 miles north of where I am now, to find water i'd be willing to drink from a stream. I'll bet you guys sleep like logs after a day's work.

Hi from north of NYC! Hugo looks like my dog, Finbar, he's an Anatolian shepard. I guess dogs from the Eurasia steppe must all look alike! BTW, it's nice to see forests with flowers, grass, bushes. Over here the deer eat everything shorter than a meter. AND we now have black bears, coywolves (wolf/coyote hybrid; smart as a coyote, big as a wolf and hunts in packs) and cougars! They hunt the deer but they're also attacking our dogs, cats, and small kids - even a 13 year old! I've often seen the wolves in my yard! 😬 That's why I have a BIG dog, a BIG fence, and stay indoors at dawn / dusk.! 😮‍💨🙄😔Do wolves come so near your houses in Siberia or do they have more respect for Russians?! 😉😊 Stay safe and keep up the good work!😊

Это продолжалось весь день, я кое-что сделал, но далеко не то, что хотел. That must have been Rainmans boar.....haha It looks like you had the same problem I did. It would be sunny, so, I would go out to do some work then it would rain, I would go back in then the sun came out. That went on all day, I got a bit done but nowhere near what i wanted to get done.
