My favorite part is that she's a healthy hedgehog. 👍🏿👍🏿

I loved hearing how she was so healthy even at 4! Seeing such a responsible and caring owner was amazing too. And it was so nice to see such attentive staff. But I think my favourite part was just getting to see Olivia.

That's probably the fastest I've ever seen any animal wake up from anesthetic. That WAS fast.

That hedgehog is so cute!! My kids would love it. But i won't allow pets until i know the animal will have everything it needs(food, clean water, attention, vet care, etc.) i don't know anything about hedgehogs except to leave them alone. Lol. Thanks for sharing this video.

That’s how it should always be! You’re a good mom! I really hate when parents get their kids pets as of they were toys, I’m glad you’re responsible!

Hi! I have a hedgehog named coco. He’s a little more than a year old and I have had him for half a year. Apparently he had some skin problems and other stuff when I got him and the people we bought him from left out a lot of important information. 1: he has very pink skin and I am worried for him. 2: he has an unnatural scar on his forehead where his spikes doesn’t grow (he had this when we got him) 3: I am not sure what a prober diet for him is. We were told to give with cat food and worms everyday but the vet told us to only feed him worms once or twice a week. Can anyone help me

I'm sorry but i dont know anything about hedgehogs. But if u have a library close by, you should check out books on caring for a hedgehog. Yes we have google but you have to be really careful with the internet. If you know a zoologist that could answer alot of questions. I have an animal encyclopedia so maybe u can order one from a bookstore.

Luxury Twee one common problems hedgehogs get are fungal infections of the skin. They usually get it when their skin gets left wet or moist like when their litter don’t get changed very often. And yes, cat food is good for everyday feeding while worms are only given as supplemental diet once or twice a week. Hope this helps!

1: I think it's normal for the hedgehog skin to look pink. If he has some dandruff-like on his skin or he loses some quills, it might be a fungal infection on mites. Better check it with your vet. 2: If there's no visible scar I don't think it's out of the ordinary. Most hedgehogs have no quill in the middle of the head to allow them to roll up and ball themselves. 3: You can find any cat foods with this nutritional value Nutritional value : Protein : 30-35% Fat : 15 - 25% Fibre : Min 2%

Very cute, but I can't understand why any animal (or human for that matter) would be put under a general for just a check up? That has to be unnessasary risk. Or maybe just another example of vets justifying their jobs and charging more with no benefit to the animal. If anyone thinks it was necessary, please set me straight!

The teeth of the hedgehog can give a lot of problems and need to be checked ones every year or 2 years i believe. Just like we go to the dentist. Unfortunately hedgehogs need to be under to be looked at. Because you cant look at the teeth when there awake and "normal"
@tichtran6644 жыл бұрын
@@v.h6866 Well if she had any dental problems she could go to a VETERINARY DENTIST. Yep there is a such speciality in veterinary medicine. First go to veterinary school, do a internship , and then do a veterinary dental residency. And at UC Davis your veterinary dental residency require you to take some dental courses at UC San Francisco.
