I’ve cut firewood for over 50 years (excepting 2 tours in the Marines). So I’m interested in hearing about your firewood operation and HOPE you go into detail as much as you do with logging. Your cord count for 2024 indicates that you are going to be getting over your aversion to splitters, yes? Because I don’t think Paul Bunyan could do over 50 cords a year hand splitting. Anyway, my friend, I’m looking forward to all aspects of your operations for the new year. Have a Happy New Year’s Day to you and yours.

I almost wish I had not found you channel you caused me to buy 2 new saws 592&572 but the saws I had are old. I did 205 full cord of firewood or 28 tri-axle loads this past year I am a 1 man show. The new saws are great I do have a processor I could never do that much wood with chainsaws but I do need them. I have done all my own sharpening for the past 15 years had to learn somethings on my own you are going to do a video on sharpening when I got the 592 I got 5 chains with it and they are the X cut c83 is there anyway I can do that profile. I have a 511 ax oregon grinder with a C N B wheel or just go with the round grind that I have been doing maybe you can touch on this in your video. I was just kiding about finding your channel keep the videos coming. The mrscuba thing I used to be a dive&rescue person for 25 years

Like how you try (and succeed)to drop trees with minimal damage to remaining trees.Most hardwoods will make good firewood when dried sufficiently.As much insulation as you can get into walls and ceiling/roof is key

Understand that, my boss cuts what the owner wants cut, got some really good walnut in the last two jobs, it was a bitch to cut because property lines and having to pull them without ripping the side off off them, probably why they were still there. I'm not sure where you are and you don't need to tell me if you don't feel comfortable, but I've been talking to you for awhile, and I was wondering, where you are, have the ash Beatles moved to the popular, and it seems like they are moving to the black oak now where we are
@Good.Fellers10 ай бұрын
@user-mf2rs1fx9o Never heard of the borer going to other species. We will cut anything for enough money but no one usually wants to pay enough to take the risk cutting junk timber. I work in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.
