I had a class mate who luckily wore a helmet when we (my class and I) one afternoon rode our bmx bikes after school on the local bmx track. He had the most awful crash I have ever been a witness to. We had to call the ambulance and everything. The doctor told his parents that the helmet saved his life as it was literily broken in half. He doesn't remember his crash but he made a full recovery. The thing with helmets is that you don't need them until you REALLY need one. Which is the reason why it's so important to always wear one!

The main character is an expensive actor with an expensive face. The troops are cheap extras. Of course they can cover their faces with a helmet. Todd Cutler (of Todd's Workshop) explains a lot of reasons that movies are fake in the same ways in at least one of his videos. -PS: I was lost in Philmont and somehow wound up at the Aztec Mine (old, mined out gold mine) before my crew. I'd hate to think of what would have happened if I went in early, as I hit my head [hard] on the ceiling within seconds of going in (and putting on my brain bucket). And in a few hundred years, what Svend though was a "silly helmet" will become an icon of badassery. Wear your damn helmet, Svend.

you could always go with a stahlhelm, its more modern and its been done before by bikers but youll probably get some flak for it 😉

I used to date a woman who didn't wear a helmet when riding a 3-wheel atv. One day it rolled on her head. If you pressed on her head in various places, you would feel the metal mesh they used to hold her shattered face and skull together. I've also seen guys, old guys, experienced riders, go down. One guy had road rash after his visor broke off (old style snap-on visor on 70s-style helmet), but if he didn't have that visor he probably would be a bit lopsided. Another time, the biker in front of me did a nosedive onto a trailer hitch when the truck stopped short (know your stopping distance!). I didn't see the results but my RN ex wife got out to provide aid and said his jaw was completely shattered. I value my brain. I love to ride, and I know it's automatically more risky than driving in a cage. But I don't need to prove my manliness by wearing a t-shirt and party helmet. I've gone down two times, once my fault (ice patch on offramp), but one time I was doing 50 and a car forced me off the road; the only injury I suffered was my thumb was sore a few weeks. Love this ad!

A lot of men think their dicks would fall or shrink if they practice safety and precaution.

Guy I know spent a fortune on a jacket with protective shoulder pads and other reinforcements. A car hit his bike, sent him into a spin, he skidded on the asphalt for an insane distance and one of the shoulder pads more or less melted. I don't wanna know what his shoulder would have been like without that jacket…
