In this first part of the guide to 2PM, we learned about the group and about their oldest member Jun. K. I have also realized that I will have a hard time watching their choreographies without drooling, but it's okay.

6:09 the reason why GD reacted like that is that during 2nd gen Kpop BIGBANG, 2PM, SUJU (typical YG, JYP, SM rivalry) were pitted against each other especially BIGBANG and 2PM. YG (Yang Hyun Suk) and JYP (Park Jin Young) are best friends and they always like to pit some of their artists against each other for example: YG vs JYP: SE7EN - RAIN BIGBANG - 2PM Lee Hi - Baek Ah Yeon AKMU - 15& WINNER & iKON - DAY6 & GOT7 TREASURE - Stray Kids But not to worry because these are just friendly rivalry/competition. Another reason why GD reacted like that is that because Jun.K also auditioned for YG where he met both GD and Taeyang and became friends with them and he was accepted in YG but at the same time he also auditioned for JYP and was accepted but he chose to go under JYP. But their friendship did not end as you can see in GD's reaction when he knew his friend's group is about to receive a prestigious award.

It's amazing that they had positive competitiveness between them. GD seems very proud. 2nd gen was awesome, the interactions are so wholesome!

2pm rightfully deserve that award, I think GD recognized it because he released only one album that year which was Heartbreaker. 2pm had like 3 cycle promotions that year so there were probably 3 ep/albums and they were all hit. Again and again skyrocketed their popularity, I hate you was a good follow up and also did well, and lastly the Heartbeat promotion was a massive hit. This is just to add to what you've said.

Junho's got his shoulder injured while doing acrobatics so he couldn't pass the physical examination for active duty. That's why his enlistment is longer than the others. Active duty soldiers have less duty time.

@@ItsEinstime he's still doing rehabilitation I think. But he never stopped doing acrobatics even after that as he take pride in the fact that he's the best at acrobatics in 2pm.

I watched his episode of I Live Alone and he said he has seven pins in his shoulder and he needs to work out regularly so that his muscles are strong enough to hold his shoulder together, because the ligament by itself isn't strong enough and it might dislocate.

I think it's rare that they have such a strong group bonding and also shined in their own solo works in years, great to see more people interested in who they are now. BTW their solo music works are really impressive, personally I really love Junho's voice and performance style. In brief, they are all amazing!

If I'm not wrong, Khun's incident also taking part in why they promote more in Japan in that time. Promote as 5 in Korea is never an option for 2PM, that's why they more active in Japan to settle things out. But that time the company really need money and 2PM massive success in Japan makes JYPE decided to held more 2PM concert in Japan because concert is where the money comes most. That also the time when their popularity start to fade in Korea.

I don't think you need to mute the videos. The few seconds you hear in the compilations don't spoil too much of the songs. It's better to watch the clip fully with sound so you get the vibe.

Jun.K also wrote the lyrics of the songs presented as his compositions, including Japanese ones. And among the group's vocals, I believe he is the one who is most dedicated to rap, this is very present in his solo career. But yeah, they all manage to be vocals and rappers. Will you also react to solo works and live performances from tours?

There are some performances by the group where you can see the three vocalists singing rap parts. They are extremely talented.

One things for sure is that JYP never learns. I feel like this man cares more about his own music career than his artists! He just lost GOT7 because of the mistreatment. I know this is a 2PM reaction but i just needed to say it 😅 What is funny tho is that two of GOT7's members signed under Jay Park's label. I feel like that says a lot.
