The Yellow King, now that is an old reference, pre Lovecraft. In fact, it's said that this book of short stories (the beginning ones of course) are the short stories who inspired Lovecraft. Yeah, destroy the planet. It's a lure, to entrap you and steal your soul.

Hey so im just going to drop this here as I can't seem to fine 1 I belive was voiced by this lovely gentleman. The basic story was: Slave trader abducts a wolf ? Then stumbled apon a Human in a pud . Then puts the human in the wolf's cell and the becomes friends and take control of the slave ship and return to the wolf's world. Very rough buy what I remember really. Let me know what it might be

I rewound it since I usually listen to the stories in the background, and couldn't get it either, but when I saw the text on screen... We "Surrender" Talks to take place on Terra, Bring your own wine. Inviting the non death worlders, to a death world, to accept "surrender" and telling them to bring their own drinks... (if English isn't your first language, putting a few words in 'Air Quotes' like that usually means the opposite or the speaker is being very sarcastic)

The King in Yellow is old-school cosmic horror. Some would call it "Lovecraftian" but it's older than Cthulhu.

An excellent question. The King in Yellow was originally conceived of by Ambrose Bierce & later used by Robert W. Chambers in his works and later inspired/expanded upon by H.P. Lovecraft. Also known as Hastur is one of the Great Old Ones and in later works in the mythos is considered the half brother of Cthulhu and the spawn of Yog-Sothoth. So suffice to say he's definitely not something to screw around with.
