You should try slowing down the pitching machine or stand further back if possible. You’re kinda hanging back on your back foot and not driving through the ball. It’s hard to tell if this is your natural swing or if you’re just doing it to compensate for being late on the ball. You’re also kinda getting jammed and not getting your arms extended but this might also be due to being late. Not hating just trying to help. Prolly good to wear a helmet too just in case.

I really appreciate the feedback. Well so I don't hardly get many ABs in the few games I play in, so it's mostly all pitching machine training for me. And at this place I can stand maybe 4' further back, but then I don't get a good shot with my camera. I've had like 50 ABs in my lifetime in a game with umpires. But I've got dingers on my bucket list, and most fields I play on aren't more than 330' anywhere, so I think it's going to happen.

@@albertvandellen4101 ya the pitching machines are hard to get the timing down because the ball just shoots out suddenly but it’s good for getting reps in for hand eye coordination practice. If you can back up a foot so you have slightly more time to get your weight shifted forward a bit more and pivoting around front foot that will give you more power and the extra time will allow you to get your arms extended out in front of you. Both of those will give you more power and be hitting bombs in no time. Live at bats are definitely the best practice once you have the technique and hand eye coordination locked in from the pitching machine.
