I love the circus, too. Seems like a great museum and I’m glad that they are going to retire the elephants and send them to a sanctuary. Ringling Brothers is back, but without any animals, which is good.

Yea, I'm happy the elephants get to retire also. I was really surprised they were still around that long. I'll have to check Ringling Brothers again without the animals. It didn't last long the last time they tried that.

I felt like I was a kid again. My oldest and i use to go to the Circus every year but they have closed down. So this was little Rosalie's first Circus. But this is probably the last show we will see that was similar to what we remember as a kid!

Haven't been to a circus in a long time! I do remember the elephants though from when I was a kid and all the acrobats I thought were really cool! That motor cycle simulator looked crazy that would make me sick 🤢

Addison and I had a good streak, but once they got ride of the elephants at Ringling Brothers - they ended up closing. So this was the first time Rosalie was able to see a Circus. Have a good weekend guys!

Awesome Museum. Haven’t the Circuses changed, ain’t that a fact! No more cruelty to animals! The poo door trap, many homes had outdoor dunnies with poo doors, another the night man could take the shit away. The Elephants would certainly were a highlight. Thank you for taking us along Carl ❤🙏🏽👍🏽🤠

I agree. Glad the elephants get to retire. Unfortunately though, many of the circus closed after wards because families didn't go after that. So this will probably be the last old school circus that Rosalie will see. The poop guy would not be a fun job at all.

Zoos have pretty much disappeared from Circus. Actually, the Circus has really disappeared. So to see both here was a surprise. Hopefully the Circus can re-invent itself to appear to Gen Z.

We have gone to Wisconsin Dells for decades but just discovered this place in the past year. Glad our little one was able to experience an old school circus. Such core memories these type of places create.

What a fun trip! I have yet to see 'The Greatest Showman'. Haha the manure door 💩 I only went to the circus once when I was little but I still remember it. It is nice though that they're retiring the elephants. This was all so nostalgic to see. Thanks for sharing this one!🎪

The Great Showman is one of the best and fun movies - you gotta see it. Glad I got Rosalie to see an old school circus. I think going forward, she will never see anything like this. I'm for the elephants that they get to retire also.

This is so cool! I’ve never heard of this!!! It looks so cool and kind of like circuses in movies, if that makes sense! And it’s kind of a twofer getting a museum and a show!!! We are also Greatest Showman fans!

This is only 15 min from Wisconsin Dells. I have been going to Wisconsin Dells since I was a kid but didn't find out about this place until the past year. Truly a hidden gem. I thought the circus would be 10 min. They actually gave a full hour show. Totally worth it.

We loved the circus growing up. And went to the final season of Ringling Brothers before they shut down a few years ago. We are glad the Ringling Brothers circus has been reopened and is touring this year - without animal acts this time. I hope it catches on and becomes a popular form of entertainment again now that they have removed the animals since that seemed to be the main complaint against the circus of the past. This looks like a really fun museum - and a great place for kids to get their first taste of the circus. Thanks for sharing this place with us!

Yea, after they got rid of the elephants, their attendance went down. Really hope they can re-invent themselves. They are now back and curious how it is going to look. But this was probably the last time Rosalie saw a Circus like the one I saw as a kid. Have a great weekend guys.

I’ve always loved the circus. When I was a kid, it was such a big deal. It was like a small part of the big wide world came to your town for a couple days. I’ve always wanted to visit this location in Baraboo, but haven’t been able to make it there, yet. Thanks for sharing!

As a kid it was definitely a core memory for me. If you go to Wisconsin Dells, it as a good side mission. We went there after our Wisconsin Dells trip - really close. Really brought me back in time.

We thought about checking this out when we were in that area! So cool to see what it’s like. We read the elephants were gone so we didn’t think it would be as cool- looks like we were wrong! We went in July last year and this one has been marinating int he hard drive to be edited. Their last days was in October 2023. I think this is the last time our family will see an Elephant at a Circus in our lifetime. Glad they are happy but the Circus has been taking a hit since they are no longer there.

I can totally understand why the elephants are phased away, but it seemed that was the reason people went. So when they took it away, families stopped going. Glad Rosalie at least got to see it once.

Yea, Elephants has really be phased out of Circus shows. That was why I was surprised to see them here. This is probably the last time we see an Elephant show. They are now in retirement living the life in Oklahoma. Rosalie says the darnest things!

I think Ringling Brothers came to Indy 10 years ago or so and Rugged Mountain Sister got to see it. Mister hasn't seen one though. Scaring your poor sister! Mister tries that all the time with his sis too so.... Love the elephants! So powerful! Looked like alot of fun... except for the smell haha!!

What a neat experience. We never had anything like that close to us. We had a county fair, but that was the closest thing. Elephants are so impressive. I understand the mixed feelings on shows like this. I guess I have them too - but it is amazing to see them in action!

This may have been the last elephant show we will see in our lifetime. These elephants retired a couple months after we left. I'm happy they will be free but the Circus will not be the same.

I saw the Ringling Brothers act twice when I was a wee young lad back in the late 60’s and early 70’s and enjoyed it vary much, it’s a shame political correctness closed them down. Glad you enjoyed yourselves and thanks for sharing.
