Think the devs confirmed that this was an exploit, not an easter egg. They've left it in, because not many people abuse it, instead using fishing or unites for jellybeans, as was intended. Really not a fan of shorts like these though that encourage people to "try it for themselves", because the devs will patch this out in a heartbeat.
