Hey everybody and happy Halloween! This was another video I wanted to kick off on the bucket list and just revisit tooniversal and there current problems. A lot of problems I have are the quality of the updates and promises to stuff that seem like that aren't likely to happen anytime soon. This video Is just me wanting to help out on what they could fix next. The server over the years has been a mixed bag with the community with its content and shown here is apparent why. In my opinion, Tooniversal is a Toontown game that just likes to add in unique things that aren’t necessary to the actual gameplay. Megacorp bosses, Spin gags, new racetracks and golf courses, new streets, etc. All of this stuff is present in the game but were just added in for fun and to make the game more interesting than TTO, but they don’t actually get in the way when it comes to the game’s main gameplay objective. A lot of the stuff they add in can definitely make a person ask “...just why?” But it’s just a thing they added in because they wanted to. But some of these things are indeed broken nonetheless and they want to continue working on them. I’m sure if they add a major update like Crash Cashbot or TTCC’s 1.1, a lot more effort would be put into it before it gets released so it doesn’t have a bunch of broken pieces. But this doesn’t exempt them from the criticism either way. While it feels like some additions are ”we just wanted to add in but you don’t have to like it” ideas, criticism is still important and is looked into. They are just working on things that seem more important like Spin gag animations, bowling, and Pressbot HQ since the more broken things like the racetracks and golf courses simply don’t serve much of a purpose anyway but are still functional. It’s a nice and unique game and it definitely has a more strange feel to it, especially when you really see the brokenness of some of the features.

As a beta tester, I saw a bunch of potential, and this game still has potential. I will say that every single team, no matter if it's Clash, Rewritten etc; will always have their version of, really laziness since neither of the servers are making money off their games. Now, I don't know if Broadway is paying his people since he has his own company. You'll have to ask him, but don't expect much from, really, any Toontown server, especially smaller servers like Tooniversal. High hopes and expectations in any Toontown server is guaranteed to cause disappointments.

I have high hopes for this server, I feel a Little compelled to see them succeed since I was on the original beta tester team, but honestly, tooniversal could be a TTR Rival if they simply did more problem solving, and more fine-tuning on the new features. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say.

Hey there, I wanted to say I do thank you for your feedback as we are always accepting criticism. As far as lack of updates and half whack releases. These were meant to showcase what was to come in TVS and while maybe not the best to release half-finished or a "Tease" we decided to release things when they are actually finished, however as far as Spin, we have been releasing tracks as they are finished to let others know we are still working on them, the biggest concern we have currently is the creative team which needs expanding onto, we are waiting to hire a few more people so we can get some necessary things finished and while things are on the to-do list, I do thank you for coming out and saying what needs to be fixed as I agree these things need to be fixed and we aim to fix a lot of these by end of the year.

i was a closed beta tester for tooniversal and it gave my high hopes that it would be worth while but sadly overtime that didn't become the case, literally anything that is halfway finished is released with not much thought whatsoever and it pains me that this game had so much good ideas but all of them were rushed out of the oven way too quickly. i also kinda miss the closed beta days as that was when tooniversal was actually fun for me. unless the game improves on how they release new content and other stuff releases, i will personally give tooniversal a skip.

People are allowed to criticize the game. Sometimes people are harsh and you shouldn’t really care unless you’re apart of the team. or just simply dont take anything to heart and attack others in the comments who disagree with you.

The dumb thing is the leader of the project claims he’s always busy when his game developers just sit in the discord and chat around he also recruits more mods than game developers. I was in that server and you know I applied to be a moderator but this guy completely looked over my mod application and when I asked him about it he said I never applied so I left the community. I know I applied I remember applying for 3 positions!

You really wanna know why these updates are half done? Why they're just so low bar compared to other servers? They're getting paid. They've been getting paid for a long time, I don't know if it's stopped now or not because I've been keeping to myself for a good while due to not playing Toontown and only working for the servers these days, but the devs getting paid is what produces these lackluster, and very disappointing "updates" to this game. I have known about the payment for a long time, and it's quite frankly disappointing to see that a good majority of the issues have not been fixed because of the lack of initiative. Toontown is not a game you should be paid to work for, it's a game where you need the passion, and you need to understand the community and your playerbase to build something spectacular for them. Tooniversal is not a game I am proud to say is in this community, and they need to fix their issues because they frankly are a laughing stock in my eyes.

That was never the case, the only people that got paid are ones who specifically work for Broadway's company, regardless if they're on the tvs team or not, because that's not the only thing they're working on. That's why some people say it's just "the initial staff" that got paid, nope, not right, the 'initial staff' were hired from broadway's company, they were paid before tvs even existed. So no, they're not being paid because they're on the team. Anyone who's exclusively on the tvs team that isn't part of broadway's company is never getting paid because getting paid to make a toontown game is illegal.
