@@michaelseay9783 the cities always come and go. The people do not. You need to learn the difference. Fact is, these prophecies are being fulfilled right before our eyes, as well as the stage for Ezekiel 38, the waning of Israel's glory as depicted in Jeremiah 49 and Isaiah 17. This age is coming to an end. Get right with Jesus and spread the gospel!

The Lord’s timing is just so good! I teach Bible to our homeschool group for high schoolers and make my own study guides. We are to review our study of Zephaniah in minutes and I’m able to cram this video in. Just fascinating because I have been thinking “this sounds like today!” But because it’s such an obscure book, no other prophecy watchers are talking about it in relation to current events. So grateful to hear from the best of the best on this!

Job 26:6 "naked death before Abaddon, and nothing shall cover them over." Job 26:13-14 “by his breath the heavens are cleared, his hand shall pierce BARACK, a serpent. Behold ALLAH the end of his ways. How? A whisper, a word, hear the strength and the thunder. Who can discern?” Deuteronomy 29:25-29 "and they will say, 'ALLAH (the accursed), for they forsook the covenant of Yahweh the God of their fathers, Asshur (he who shall come forth) shall cut off they who were brought out of the land of Egypt.' They will come to serve another god (Allah), and prostrate before a god, Asshur (he who shall come forth) shall know to divide. And the breath of Yahweh shall burn against that land (Palestine whole - see Isaiah 14:29-31) to bring upon all a curse written in this book. Yahweh shall uproot the land in anger, fury of great wrath, to cast another land as it is this day concealed. Yahweh our God. Uncover the Son. For unto the last, this is the observance of all of the words of this book of law." Deuteronomy 32:41 “Truly I cut into Barack with a sword, for My hand shall accomplish justice, I will turn back the vengeance of My adversaries, to repay all those who hate Me.”

That Zephaniah prophecy might be a key for the times we are in. Blessings to both of you! On October 9th as I joined a group of Jews mourning in the city of Calgary, I asked one "What does Hamas mean?" She answered "In Hebrew it means Violence."

Yesterday I felt like I should read and study Zephaniah. I started reading and got to the Chemerims and didn't know who they were, so I started searching and got sidetracked in Jocephus, so I just put a ?? there. Thank you Gary for explaining that. One of my favorite books in the Father’s Word. Zephaniah (TsephanYah) means “Treasured of Yah (YHWH)” and “He whom YHWH hides”. And it’s no coincidence that the actual Hebrew Name (TsephanYah) has the Father’s NAME in it…as does ObadYah (Servant of Yah), ZakarYah (Remembered of Yah), YirmeYahu/Jeremiah (Exultation of Yah), YeshaYahu/Isaiah (Salvation of Yah), NehemYah (Consolation of Yah), Yahoshua/Joshua (Yah is Salvation), and on and on it goes…His people, called by His Name. HalleluYah! (which means “You praise Yah!”). Not a coincidence that our own Messiah, Yahshua, was given His Father’s Name-and came in and proclaimed His Father’s Name and taught it to His brothers. It’s no wonder our Father is returning us to His Pure Speech-His Set-Apart Language is important and sadly, all these meanings (and the Father’s Name) have been covered up over time in translation. “For then I shall turn unto the peoples a clean lip, so that they all call on the Name of YHWH to serve Him with one (Unanimous and United) shoulder.” TsephanYah 3:9. 😊

He should have finished Zephaniah 2:7. The end of the verse says, "For the Lord their God will intervene for them and RETURN THEIR CAPTIVES." This is direct prophecy for today. The coastal cities, Gaza, Askelon etc. are WEST of Jerusalem, Moab, Ammon v.8 - East, Ethiopia v.12 -South and Assyria/ Nineveh - North v.13. FYI for Bible students.

I had to smile because for a couple days now I have been thinking that I need to read Zachariah. Was going to start in morning. Then this comes on my feed. I love how the Lord speaks to me! Something is about to happen. Between April and October this year seems to be the best fit for the season Jesus talked about. When you see the trees beginning to bud you know that summer is near is referring to the labor pains of earth. They get more intense and more frequent.

To imply that this prophecy has been fulfilled now because of the events of Oct 7 is not taking into account what Gary and L.A. choose for some reason was not important to mention. How many inhabitants are still left in Gaza? One million ? Two million ? How will they be destroyed ? When will they be destroyed ? These are the kind of issues that for some reason was not important enough to talk about .

They are referring to the people Cherethites - whose definition Gary has determined to mean “Running Assassins”… I have spent the better part of two hours trying to find that specific interpretation of the people/nation called Cherethites… my study came up over and over that the Cherethites is from the Hebrew word Keretim which translates in certain uses to - executioners… or destroyers and because Zephaniah declares the LORD says… those who leap over the threshold… Gary must have found a translation that stated “Running Assassins”…. I could not find such a specific connection… but executioners is very much connected… and I say WOW.. just WOW!!

The prophecy in Zephaniah about the Philistines who are dwelling in Gaza and on the coast is indeed startling, especially when it is sandwiched in between prophecy that is explicitly about the nearness of the day of the Lord. Now I was reading in the book of Haggai where God says the shaking of the nations is going to happen, now that shaking was related to Israel's return from captivity in Babylon, but it seems to pre figure and be a foreshadowing of the Lord coming down from his place at the right hand of God with a shout and the trump of God, and that mighty voice will once again shake not only the earth but heaven as well! Now I have noticed an interesting pattern which is that the number 24 seems to repeatedly show up when many of these end of days prophets, like Haggai but there are others also, receive revelation from the Lord. I know that God uses numbers as symbolic, prophetic and interpretive keys, the number 24 is very significant with multiple meanings associated with it. One is that it relates to the hours of the day, and the complete day on a 24 hour time clock, this is especially important with respect to the last hour and the end of the age. There may also be a correlation between the hours and the years which God has determined will precede the coming day of the Lord. It is also an interesting coincidence that the analog clock face can be called a watch, and Jesus emphatically admonishes his people to be awake and watching for his return. Another meaning that is attached to 24 is the heavenly government rule and order is represented by the 24 courses of the priests in the first temple, and also in every restoration of the temple after a period of neglect or decline. There is a parallel with 12 which represents earthly governmental order, and there is also the parallels of the numbers 11 and 23. 23 is where there is the failure of heavenly order, rule and government associated with the fall of the rebel angels and also of the princes and rulers of Israel in the terrible sin and judgment of Baal-Peor. 11 of course is associated with the failure of earthly government and also with the fall of Judas Iscariot. 11 also refers to the last hour and seems to also have a connection to the 9-11 events. Like it was a prophetic time marker, and the gospels (Luke 13:4) also talk of the collapse of towers taking 18 lives. 18 is a number associated with war and destruction. So for 24 there is a link to the completeness of a full day time cycle and also with the failure and fall of heavenly and earthly authorities ordained by God, but who turned against Him. This does not seem to be accidental the number being also associated with the giving of prophecy relating to the last hour of the last days. Does this mean that God has hidden (in plain sight)and encoded the number 24 for the wise, the Maschil, who in Daniels prophecy will understand the prophetic symbolism and meaning related to number designs and patterns in the bible, as hidden and then unveiled in the time of the apocalypse, as an aspect of deity,(or possibly an angelic order being)which is referred to as Palmoni, the wonderful numberer? I don't know but it certainly is a provocative possibility to consider. Does all of these patterns converge to send a flashing signal light on the year 2024, as possibly the year the Lord will return to gather his people in the rapture? It is said that no one knows the day or the hour, but does that leave open the possibility for knowing the year? I don't know but again God could be narrowing and counting down to the final moments of the present day and age.

@@WKDMOUSE67 Well normally I wouldn't answer or respond to a question regarding the source of my information, but I am going to make an exception here, and I think you are asking an honest question in good faith. Basically I have been a diligent student of scripture for many years, and in the process of that study the holy Spirit in combination with my own native ability, have noticed repeating patterns and doctrinal themes in the scripture, and also that God will use numbers as interpretive keys to unlock and unfold further meaning and light, especially with respect to end of days prophecy. And importantly, the "day of the Lord" that Zephaniah refers to a few times as a time of God's wrath and of trouble, distress, devastation and darkness (1:14-15), as do others such as Isaiah and Jeremiah, is the same period of time or "season" that Paul speaks of in I-Thessalonians 5:1-3 and II-Thes-2:2-12. However, it is not to be confused with the "gathering together to Him" in verse 1 of the latter passage, this rather being a reference to what Paul described earlier in I-Thes-4:15-18.

They are referring to the people Cherethites - whose definition Gary has determined to mean “Running Assassins”… I have spent the better part of two hours trying to find that specific interpretation of the people/nation called Cherethites… my study came up over and over that the Cherethites is from the Hebrew word Keretim which translates in certain uses to - executioners… or destroyers and because Zephaniah declares the LORD says… those who leap over the threshold… Gary must have found a translation that stated “Running Assassins”…. I could not find such a specific connection… but executioners is very much connected… and I say WOW.. just WOW!!

No. It is talking about how God will gather his people (all of the 12 tribes) back to Israel. Pastors have put so much emphasis on the rapture that many don't look to see what all happens before the great and dreadful day of the Lord. Also, a great many have gotten the timeline wrong on what all is suppose to transpire and when. That is why God admonishes us to STUDY our Bibles. Don't just take someone's word as fact. Be like the Bereans and search through the scriptures to make sure that the information being given is true. Jesus will not return until his bride is gathered together and sanctified. Also, the temple must be rebuilt. There is so much more but i will leave that up to you to seek out with God's help. Bless you.
