It doesn't say they were exterminated. "Captured" and "drove out" are the terms used to describe the situations. We know these areas become a thorn in Israel's side for centuries. They are referred to as Philistines later on in the historical narrative during 1 Samuel relative to King Saul and David, possibly because they arrived or invaded this coastal region after the conquest of Joshua. This is just my speculation. Philistines are listed in Genesis in a couple places but are most likely anachronisms. My point is: Gaza was conquered and occupied by Judah and Caleb drove out the Anakim who were Nephilim. This took place at the end of the conquest and is recorded in Judges 1:18-20. LA Marzulli gives the impression that Gaza was never conquered by the Israelites and that it continues to be a Nephilim stronghold today. What remains of those that are left behind are or will be subject to the will of God. Some, as in the case of Lot and Noah, judgement came swiftly upon those that remained. During the Tribulation period many people will be saved, but many will be lost. Those that were lost in the days of Noah and Lot were lost because they rejected the directives of God, and those that will be lost during the Tribulation period will be lost for exactly the same reason. Yes, I'm one that believes in a Pre Tribulation Rapture, but whether or not someone agrees of disagrees is of little importance. God will call His Church home at the appropriate time. But, if anyone wants to debate the Pre Tribulation Rapture concept, I'm ready.

When those two families went out, there were no second chances and nobody left behind to repent. They all died suddenly. I used to believe in the pre-rapture because that was what I was taught. But then the Lord showed me it was a fantasy. It’s no way in the Bible. When people defend the pre-rapture they can’t point to a single verse. All they can do is point to the invisible words between the lines and say well don’t you see, this over here means such and such and that over there means this and that. Once again, those who preach pre-rapture are teaching something that adds to the book of revelation and confuses and distort the real truth. Once again, Messiah said that those who add to or subtract from the book of revelation will receive its plagues. Repent while you have time. That’s all I have to say to you. If you haven’t seen the obvious so far, all I can do is pray for you. And put you on mute so that we don’t get into fruitless arguments.

Absolutely not! Clearly you need to study the Bible more. Christians are NOT the new Jews, scripturally, we are 'the church's. The land of Israel is at the centre of end time events, the New Temple, the Antichrist, Jesus' return etc. So, scripturally, the Bible clearly sets out that Jews and Israel have a distinctly separate destiny to Christians and the church. Nevertheless, we ARE rooted in Judaism and the Jews are 'family'. There are faithful and unfaithful people in both camps, including those unfaithful who are convinced they are saved but they are not - Jesus will say, 'I never knew you.'. We need to make sure He doesn't say that to us!

Christians are 'the church's and have one path and destiny outlined in the Bible, whilst Jews/Israel have their own distinct path and destiny again laid out in the Bible. Israel is central to the End Times and world events which is why Satan spends so much time stirring up hate against Israel and the Jews. Do your homework before making claims like that. God made an everlasting covenant with them. We have NOT replaced them!
