Really good mix and always like the Salute to Vets Amtrak Sprinter unit , as well as I figure either the Silver Star or Silver Meteor, nice horn salutes from the passing NER on express and the arriving NJT

I bet there are other mega regions in the USA that wish they had their own version of the NE corridor, Fast and efficient(by USA standards) rail travel between a group of nearby cities and in-between suburbs.

Ranges from 100 to 150mph

NE Corridor runs 100-150 as the other poster said and with new Acela trainsets there are plans to push sections 160mph. Where are they going depends on the train, Some going to NYC for work, some going home back to suburbs in NJ. And Amtrak could be anywhere, People in the NE expect their trains to be fast and on time.
