Super nice video. America should really straighten the whole line of NE corridor. We don't need any 150mph plus speed. But please make at least 95% 120mph capable. CT part really sucks.
@physetermacrocephalus99865 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure the CT area is slow because Metro-North and ConDOT owns the area and they probably don't want to upgrade it, they don't allow the Acela to tilt on their tracks either

I really wish they could expand electrification outside of the NEC or at least have another small corridor outside of it that’s electrified like the surfliner trains. I really want high speed trains in the US, but a lot of the cities are too far apart outside of the NEC and trackage rights belong to the freight railroads.

@froztytrainfilms91486 жыл бұрын
MERRY_RBLX but there ain’t any, and none are coming to the northeast region. Also, consider the fact that the train would need to be adapted to North American railroad standards, like both the Acela and acs-64
@pearlyhumbucker90656 жыл бұрын
@Budder Shark "the train would need to be adapted to North American railroad standards" As if this would be a big problem.... 1) Railway manufacturer all over the world adapt their products to the standards of "foreign" railroads on a daily basis - and nobody kicks up a fuss about it, it is simple common practice. 2) The adaption to american standards mainly concerns an adaptation to the below-average track layout and a reduction of the permitted speed..
@red2theelectricboogaloo9614 жыл бұрын
i doubt that. most of the reason that they aren't going any faster is that the tracks are all wibbly-wobbly and therefore have restrictive speed limits making it hard to really "go fast" with any trainset. maybe it would've been *faster*, but i doubt anyone would be "blown away from such speed"
@bistroofdoom26514 жыл бұрын
