If, for example a cop would ask you if you have a gun holstered there on the right (its a walkie talkie), the usual guy, or woman wouldnt realise the situation there are in and may reach for it to show the officer that the person doesnt carry anything dangerous on him/her. As soon as a hand moves to the holster, the officer would probably shoot you instant while screaming at you. Those kinda situation are extremely tricky and very dangerous for every private person. they dont know what to do. officers cant handle those kind of situations well either most of the time, cause they get drilled to be extremely careful.

@Nicholas Johnson he has four kills under his belt, and one failed homicide, so he is ahead of many serial killers. Thankfully, random people on KZbin comments don't get to decide what constitutes a serial killer, and 3 with a similar MO and pattern of slayings is the cut off, regardless of whether you think 7 is the minimum or not. Four identical MO homicides as a cop, five if you count the attempted homicide, is so grossly out of proportion to the average that he needs to be investigated. As this video proves, he is popping people he doesn't need to, but knows he can get away with killing. He shot at this guy like it was just another day on the range. I never did as an officer and most of my fellow officers never did. But there were those who always called "shots fired" over the radio and we all knew the voice when we heard the 1033 over the air as they called control. It was almost like they did it to get time off. They'd be taken out of service to do a report and the shift commander would look over the report before allowing it to be put into the data system. Once it's in the system staff are unable to delete or edit, but they can make an addendum, however, everything put in before the addendum is still there and can't be removed. That's why the watch commander/shift commander will carefully review the report before entering into the computer. The administration never did anything with those a$$hats that had constant lethal use of force. It was like a sort of magic that only they had no other officers needed to use lethal use of force but when they came on duty it was on. Occasionally, the worst an officer might get was 2 weeks on the beach (no pay pending investigation that led to they're being placed back to active duty), but hardly ever were they charged much less convicted. During my tenure of service I only saw one officer actually charged and he beat the case.

As of now, April 2023, the city of Modesto is paying out 7.5 million dollars to the family of the slain man. A pittance to them in return for the life of their friend, brother, son, nephew, grandson and family member. The "officer" that murdered him has yet to be formally charged, and after being arrested was released on a $100k bond. We were informed of this by our pet-sitter who was abused by the son and the partiers. We called the local sheriff's office and filed a complaint, asking that he be arrested and the car be impounded. The sheriff, to his credit, informed me that sometimes those sort of arrests lead to irredeemable and significant violence - usually for the arrestee. To my credit, I asked them to simply monitor and respond as necessary - which they did. It all worked out well in the end, and today my son is alive, productive, enjoying life, and has no tattoos. @@theo.g.441 subject is running from the police, said to be possibly armed with a gun. In persuit a cops job is to de-escalate or end the problem at hand as quickly and safely as possible. His understanding is the guy is armed and running from him. The last thing he wants is for an armed man to come in contact with other civilians for any reason. He stopped the situation to what he thought was the best action to do so. Was it right? No. But as a guy whose been in multiple fatal shootings his adrenaline is through the roof and decision making is now based on survival. I'm not backing up the cop but the guy ran. Was said to be armed with a gun. And then before he could be cleared of not having a weapon he puts his arms And hands down after being told not to multiple times. The fact you think all possibly deadly situations can be avoided is a joke. No one knows everything and in the heat of a life or death moment unsure of it's outcome, you will make decisions many people would say they wouldn't. But then again, you've never been in this guy's shoes. So who the fuck are you have any opinion? They cop was reckless, the cop was making too quick of decisions, and it could have been avoided. But the second he discharges his weapon his intent is to leave the situation alive no matter the perps intentions.

Ignorance is bliss. It is 100% possible for one cop to always be in situations where lethal force is required and if he is proficient with his weapon then they will mostly end in one way. Each and every situation has its own merit and one cannot use other situations to judge him by, infact the other situations can then also be used to defend him and say he rids the world of killers and simply made a slight judgement error here. If I'm a mechanic and there is a guy that says the only good mechanic is a dead mechanic in my workshop and his family called and said he has a gun and wants to kill someone then I'm not asking questions, if i aim at him and tell him "hands up" and he twice drops his hands/hand then I'm sorry but I'm not taking chances with my life, my little girls love me and they do not deserve growing up without a father just because keyboard and social justice warriors feel more compassion for washout criminals than for good honest citizens and innocent children. Society disgusts me sometimes. And officer shoots at you and says "hands up", just keep your damn hands up!! Teach that to the washout druggies.
