Hi Matt and Tom, the first ruin to came to under the tree was the old Moorcock Inn ( I'm saying nothing🤦) apparently it was a busy little area round there in the past, several mines nearby so busy with coal miners and drovers etc. Russ

@@matparks08 I havnt investigated the mines but they are just on top of the hill near Coolem cottages, there are some large engine bed stones and associated remains of structures, Clive from Rossendale collierys will know more.

Did you come over to the res from where you filmed The Famous Whitworth Doctors? There is a good route just up from The Red Lion in that video.
