I met Anand Babaji one year ago, and spent about 3 weeks with him, traveling and learning. It was life changing. He did not live in one place. He passed last month, and I am forever grateful to meet him.

@@planetmars6615 I met Babaji in Rishikesh, and we traveled to Varanasi together. Sadhus have a rule of not being able to live in one place for over the time of a week or 10 days I believe. They can stay and live in Ashrams for longer, and cave or natural dwellings for sadhana. Anand Baba traveled all the time, his whole life. Some Sadhus live nearly totally disconnected from humanity yes, but he was very active with humanity at least in his later life.

People feed them by donating/giving, which helps Sadhus to live without worrying about food and clothes. And therefore in this context donating/giving is the best deed one can do. @@Wotan-new

Actually it depends if someone is extremely lacking resources definitely he/she wouldn't be able to enjoy Spirituality to this level untill amd unless he/she leaves everything and becomes a yogi which is not possible for everyone

@@DivineMiracle-z2v you mean living alone ? It used to be but we aren't sure anymore. All gurus say place isn't really a big thing for embracing yogic life. It's following the rules. And if you want support - better choose a good ashram like chinmayananda and such sampradaya.
