I think LbD are outstanding... But they are not right for the BBC News, which I also follow. In the US, Reagan to threw out the Fairness Doctrine, something very similar to the charter by which the BBC is run... If LbD got onto the BBC News, we would be strolling blithely down the same dark alley. Better to keep the BBC impartial, keep watching LbD, keep reading quality newspapers of record (Guardian, Times, Le Monde, FAZ, WaPo et al) and dip into various overseas broadcast media. LbD are outstanding, but are not for the BBC.

They own one party and quite likely both, as Stammer has spent the last eighteen months trying to woo tory donors, who are the ones pulling the strings. She may well have been the last tory PM.
