I just watched all four series. Excellent . I fished with my father from Port Adelaide to KI . Crayfish/shark (Pelourus). And the names and stories of early Tuna fishing He told was always fascinating and some good times He would say . Thank you Garry for your great work on doing this Doco. Cheers THOSE WERE THE DAYS.

Hi garry , ive just watched all 4 in this series . I poled for only 1 year out of esperance and albany, in 1984- 85 . what a time and experience it was. i remember hearing the names of these sa boats on the radio at times . have you got a similar programme on the vic / tassie cray industry? my relatives were all involved fishing out of apollo bay

,,,,,,while I'm at it. The Tasei Maru, a 35 mtr Japanese Built Fresh-Chilled Longliner is currently for sale in WA. I skippered it before for 6 months myself. A real weapon. Ray has to retire. Keep it in WA with loads of quota, or export to the SW Thailand, where I know the right people. Thats why I'm here. Cheers. I was the Chief Engineer / Fish Dresser where we caught over 90 tonne of SBT off the Terminator, a 32 mtr Korean Built Longliner in 3 months out of Eden.
