I think the body shape and size of an animal says more than what it eats. The aardwolf lives in open areas like plains or savannahs. They search in far and wide suitable for make a long journey. While there are smaller animals that can do the same thing, like a shrew and most cats. It seems as though, when that animal becomes adept in that environment and has become specialized in that particular behavior the animal becomes larger.

In Nigeria there's a group of people who keep hyenas as pets, or show animals like in a circus. I wonder if given the chance could hyenas become as useful to humanity as dogs? It is a shame that these beautiful creatures are given such a bad reputation in the eyes of most modern media, because humans have a tendency to kill those animals that we identify as threats. This will most likely lead to their eventual extinction. Perhaps one day this will change and you may find yourself strolling through Central Park with a hyena at your side. Its a thought at least, but thank you for this video and stay curious family.🖖 Live long and prosper 😎

It was inevitable the cats would develop dog like forms to fill ecological niches left unoccupied by the canids. In the hyena family, its been a successful strategy. The dog like clade was wiped out because it competed for the same territory and resources as the canids. Our aardwolf is the lone survivor because it reverted from carnivory to an insectivorous lifestyle, which saved it from extinction. Bone-crushing forms have been around because they’re very good at what they do and try to avoid direct conflict with other carnivores. Combining the lightness of a cat with the social behaviour of a dog was one of those evolutionary experiments that brought about a different feliform carnivore in the tree of life.

It was an arrogant statement. you don't mean that, but it is. "God loves us "How do you know that. Did he tell you that in person! or what.!. How does he communicate to you. May be he hates us, you know for understanding evolution and such. It's blasphemy. May be Jesus was the God. May be it's Allah. Or may be there are many Gods, like Vishnu, Siva, Krishna, Helena, Athena, Thor etc. No one fucking knows for sure. Every religion has a separate personality fr God(s). May be the God(s) hate us or extremely shy for never showing up. May be it's all a fucking con. You are a christian only because you were born in to it, or convert to it by some circumstances. Why the existence of Gods aren't so obvious as 2+2=4. Why science gives us different answers to the religious teachings. I mean science is open and can question anything, and it's perfected over 100's of years, by our most intelligent people under intense scrutiny and skepticism. Religion is basically a collection of unquestionable fairy-tales and wacky outdated immoral rules wrapped with a cult like organization and its practices. I mean, i get it religion is a blanket which makes us feel good and gives some simple comfort and meaning to this seemingly painful and dreadful existence. So does heroin or cocaine. But personally i chose to be a sober. When i was a Christian, i was never curious, BTW. I was arrogant internally, cause i was good in Jesus's book and it felt good. I was happy but i was high in stupidity. Then i slowly opened my eyes. I became well versed in time. I want to know what i am, what is life and what is reality, before i die. I'm extremely curious about it now. I want to and I think science is our best tool to understand universe and the knowledge will be my salvation. I feel light now, i can say that Science made me humble and incredibly expanded my perspective than my religious days.
