Yeah. No one keyboard covered it all, so I used the Kurzweil, which has semi-weighted keys, and that worked reasonably well for piano, organ, synth, etc., but no ideal for any.

This is Brilliant!!! Just wondering. Did anyone notice how simplistic and almost boring the compositions and parts became as the the songs got closer to the times we live in today? The 50's, 60's, 70's and arguably the 80's were magical for those who practiced and loved their craft. This is a testament to what so many have been saying throughout the years. I'm glad I grew up when I did. Brilliant!

This a great example of what a keyboard purchase is all about. Paying $999 for an 88 key Korg, great buy, but it doesn't allow seemless switching from one patch to another like your Kurzweil. People wanting to go beyond a piano to a workstation need to be asked this question, if they are gigging and need something that flows, then it's going to cost $. Great playing very awesome!
@MVWDave8 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I've had other keyboards that specialized in this and that, but for gigging, flow is so important. The "banks" feature on the Kurzweil has been invaluable. Thanks for the comment.

+andrea costantini Great suggestions. I used to play a few of these in some of the bands I've played in, and I'm going to add these to my list for future videos.
