1990 Soundgarden, Manchester. Small club on Back Piccadilly, opposite the crappy Sachas Hotel. 808 State DJs Darren and Andy on the decks. Two coppers came into the club , while Total Confusion was on, doing a walk through, to which the whole place responded by going even more mental to the tune, like 300 Bez’s, all dancing and pointing at the coppers, chanting the ‘whoo, whoo, woo, woo’ part. Vivid memory. Great track.
@stephnicholas45798 ай бұрын
Love it when someone else has your same memories 😁 Soundgarden was such a small dark cellar; but it was epic!! Used to be a girl in there that looked just like Saffron, in all black lycra and a little black bob - she appeared to hang out with all the 'Destroy Boys' as I used to call them - I used to buzz off her, dancing away 😊 Good job I had my fake ID (16-19 bus pass) or I'd have never got in!! Think I was 15, but looked about 12!! The strobe and the smoke were incessant!! 😂

Bloody hell Konspiracy, that was a place! Made especially for LSD with that room of mirrors and the next room that was like caves with all crazy faces painted on them! 😮😂 We used to get the bus into town and then walk home to Swinton/Worsley - I'd tell my mum I was sleeping out at my mates house, she would tell her mum she was sleeping at ours 😁 Now I'm a parent myself of a boy that is the age I was when I started going out......kind of relieved he's a bit more of a brainiac/gamer!😂

A friend of mine used to throw house parties in the early 90s at his grandmother's house. Joan, his grandmother, had a big house, a block back from Sydney harbour, up high overlooking the city skyline, with a ball room at the lower level. They were great parties that are fondly remembered by all who attended. Anyway, this song was a staple in his set and always brought everyone onto the dance floor. Cracking track.
