I had no idea that a cat with two different colored eyes is so rare. I thought that a lot of tuxedos are like that. I have a black and white cat, long-haired, with one yellow eye and one blue eye. She is quite the special kitty, and very beautiful. I've never had a cat that loves cuddles more than she does.

It is also likely that Pixi is deaf in the ear on the blue-eye side. This is common with white cats with blue eyes.

My wife and I had 10 rescue kittens from our local shelter. We finally had to stop going in there, so many kittens and older cats needing homes. Five of them have passed on, four of them are getting ready to turn sixteen. One is ten. We have thought about getting a couple when these are gone, but we are getting up there in age and we worry what would happen to them if we were not here. We donate every month to HFP and others. So much need for these poor animals.

He's beautiful. So scared to start with but soon warmed up. Lovely to hear him purring. Someone is going to be very lucky to have this gorgeous kitten as part of their family. Many years ago my cat got out just before she was due to be spayed. The result was 5 kittens. Mum was a black cat. Four of her kittens were white. One had pale blue eyes, two had heterochromia, one green eye and one blue eye, one had green eyes (the only one who was completely deaf) and the last kitten was tabby and white. Our responsibility so we kept them all - and all were neutered and spayed. The tabby and white was 21 years old when she passed.

A feral kitten is absolutely fixable. So are most adults as well, given some patience. I'm so glad this little guy was saved. Thanks to the caller and the rescuers. Pro tip: if you call a rescue, give a donation if you can afford it. If you can't, that's ok too. But even 5 bucks makes a difference if you can. ❤❤❤ This kitty's meows shoukd be submitted to The Kifness.

Eldad, I have watched you for years from when you rescued only dogs, worked almost exclusively alone armed with just your lucky leash and would have to bath rescues in a deep sink. One of the rescues that sticks with me is where you sat for over two hours next to a parked car building trust with a small stray dog.
