Last time we visited our friends at Touge Factory on our Final Bout trip, Hert spotted a wild project car in their garage... but it was far from being done. So on his Final Bout retribution trip, Hert goes back and witnesses the glory that is a K24 powered Nissan 240sx. And the best part? It's turbo'd and built to grip.

I feel everyone loves honda engines and light weight, but i think the FWD is what turns most people off. I think AWD civics and k swapped RWD cars are amazing. Oh and clearly the S2k holds its value amazing.

I have 450,000+ miles on my K series Honda that hasn’t been mechanically touched since it was assembled. I am a believer in the superiority of Honda engines and their K series. Original clutch too!

Kennith Chapman embrace the change, got guys like StewLeask building a k24 powered GTS-T, Amir’s k24 NSX so many mr2/Mr-s that are k-swapped. This will be a very common swap in the next couple years with the s-chassis guys I promise you, specially when you see how easy it is to make power. Almost 500hp on a stock block!! No way could a sr20det handle that

For the oil pan: Put some baffles in so the oil pan doesn't get flung around during hard cornering. Or just make a separate catch can en connect it to the sump. Notideal in any case, but with such a deminished capacity there simply isn't enough oil in the pan during cornering. Dry sump would help immensely. Its that or lift up the engine so you can accomodate a bigger pan.

The idea is just to have a larger volume pan with baffles to maintain a budget build pricing without having to go dry sump. The idea of raising the engine by a 1/4 inch to extend the oil pan is brilliant 🤘🏼🤘🏼.

Needs a oil pickup tube relocation. I've seen it on converted drag cars. Stock location means hes probably loosing oil pressure on left turns because of the location of pickup.

Them K24 engines are like the 2JZ of the 4cyl world there pretty stout people will always take the piss thats just the way it is but you can't ignore all them turbo honda builds dominating races on the street and track.

Right now 2JZ’s in North America are selling for $2500+ and SR20DET are right around the same price... K24’s are $600-$800 all day long. Both engine packages can take the abuse, but you can literally buy 3x K24’s for every 1x 2JZ.
