This has been in the files for many years. It represents how our horse “dies” for a second when we take a dangerous fall. Otherwise, this could be something they have been working on for many years. Like, something huge. Considering otherwise, this most likely be the falling/ dangerous fall feature.

Sometimes when SSO wants to remove a character from somewhere they put them in an unavailable object or underground. I think Starshine gets sucked into the portal/dies by it/idk :)

If a horse has to die in the game, it's probably gonna be our starter, because all of us started the game with our starter, and we all have done everything with our starter! so, i think that our character is gonna do a very dangerous quest, and then our starter will protect us! and sadly die :( (Sorry if i didn't explain well)

as much as i love my starter, i think that would be an amazing decision story wise. our starter horse was after all, some random horse from moorland. imagine if it did die, but rose up from the ashes like phoenix and reincarnated into a beautiful jorvik wild horse, reaching it’s full potential. imagine, watching your starter die, losing all hope and giving up, but then it comes back, more powerful than ever! that would be such a powerful moment! and would give our starters so much more depth and meaning!

I feel like this is possible, but it would be strange to have two foal guardiian horses who died- starshine AND concorde. Maybe it's like, we think starshines dead but he pops up and saves the day later? Or, it could just be a different random horse and that was just put there for storage, like the TextSkin thingy Also another thing about the Horse Die files is that some people think those are there just so scare us, because right after those codes it says "We know you read these" It's very possible it's just meant to scare us But with this discovery, it gives us many more hints. How long has starshine been there? As long as the horsedie codes? Is horse die an old plan that was cancelled, or is it in development? Who knows.....

I love my starter horse and will be upset when they kill it but rumors are going around saying that we will do something with the dark riders and are starters jump in to safe us from death which I imagine very sad but also heart warming also it makes sense if are starters die maybe that’s why we are getting the rune runner the star shine thing might have something to do with garnok because he was trapped underwater maybe we do something’s no with garnok maybe those files are just to scare us or they are being worked on another theory is are starter horse don,t die and it’s one of the soul riders horse that would be upsetting for them but why would sso kill are horse we came into this game with that horse and we want to leave it with that horse so it seems upsetting also your right we would probably get glitches and bugs that could not be fixed I think “a horse” maybe are starter maybe a soul rider horse will we will eventually go to war or have a battle etc with the dark riders and dark core and are starter or a different horse maybe star shine protects us from death but how would the horse die would they trap them in pandoria push them of the rig what way would they kill them maybe if they get trapped in pandoria we later go back and rescue them this might have something to do with darko or maybe they die a different way but I’m guessing if there was war or battle we would fight with magic not weapons so that makes a point maybe the dark riders use a deadly spell and cast it to us but then are starter horse gets in the way maybe they took are starter horse and cursed and do made it their own there are so many possibilities sorry for bad spelling.Also this might make a lot of people leave if we loose are starter horse. I'm quite sure it has to do with something involving star shine, so you're correct! Once I saw a video of what I think was old sso or star shine legacy, star shine reared, fell over and needed a vet urgently in a cutscene, it could be fake or something that they almost added but thought would be too sad for a soul rider horse to DIE. I don't think our starter horses will die, even though they are star breeds so they will be reincarnated! I am not sure, I am just guessing.

ok so from other theories i found and tried to conclude this so if u went on the haunted trail ride did u notice a unicorn with garnok and ppl around it? well what I think is that the unicorn is actually our starter horse because in starshines legacy mr.sands said he needs at least one soul riders horse to complete the ritual for garnok also the ppl around it might be the dark riders. I really hope my theory isn’t true but still see wat y’all think of it.

And if the starter dies then they have no horses which kind defeats the purpose of the game.
