A house of hope: Homeless man builds house out of wooden pallets

A homeless man in Winnipeg has drawn in eyes from all around the city, as he built himself a home from wooden pallets. Mike Albanese has his story.

I'm so thankful for the attention and help that he's since received. This is proof that not all homeless people are drug addicts, drunks, and uneducated, the way many in our society tries to portray them. I've assisted the homeless in my region for years, and I've met some of the most amazing people. God bless him, and my prayers are with him. 🙏🏽

So true....I used to hang out at the library and smoke cigarettes and play guitar...just for fun, and when I got monies I'd give it to them. After a while the homeless in that area became my friends. I liked it a lot because I could talk about really personal stuff, and they would share stuff too...and it could never be used against you ya know...I didn't know their circles of people and they didn't know mine so it didn't matter to just open up and talk. I really miss that

But when you’re back home you really have no idea how it’s like to work and live in Canada . Back in O5 I moved into my first homeless shelter.....lemme' tell ya, There no fun....but I was greatful to have some where's to go.
