I think you will be pleasantly surprised by Twisted Hate! I didn’t think Jules was my favorite character but after reading this book, my opinion changed a lot and I had so many annotations for this book. So good!

Hooked is in my tbr, it’ll be my first dark romance book and I’m nervous/looking forward to it! Right now I’m reading Part of Your World and so far I like it, you’re right the men Abby Jimenez writes are very vulnerable it’s refreshing. Have you thought about dabbling into thrillers?

I think Hooked is mild on the dark romance side compared to some others I tried to read but couldn’t finish (*cough cough* Den of Vipers 🫣).

I forgot to answer your other question! I have thought about reading thrillers but I’m a scaredy cat, lol. Sometimes I feel brave enough for a mystery-thriller but that window is very small. 🫠
