That was a TANK. There’s a neighborhood in SW OKC called featherstone that has massive catfish. The HOA actually pays to keep it stocked with bass and cats, but the bass die every time there’s a big storm that causes the pond to turn over. I got a 14 pounder with a medium action bait caster set up and it was an absolute war lol.

That looked like a big flat head cat. The flat heads are more aggressive than Channels or blues. Big 29 30lb. Tipping the scale💯

It wouldn’t be fair to compare salt water fish to fresh but I hit a pretty big carp. Hooked it in the dorsal fin with a kastmaster 1/4 oz lure.

Sheeesh ! Not too long ago I spotted 4-5 nice sized carp and attempted to snag one with a lipless crankbait 😂 they kept getting off.
