THIS is why you're my favorite Googan! You fish Crappie when they're biting and you explain every little detail on tactics and gear. I'm pretty sure you're the one pushing for the Googan Crappie stuff and that's why when you come out with them, you will have my support! Hell Yeah LFG!

Those are actually white crappie. They get that way when there in full spawn mode. You can actually see the white bars going vertically, while black crappie have more specks. Tight lines and great content LFG 👌

He literally explains this in the video about halfway through. The crappie in Ray Roberts hybridized a while back. Most of what he caught are blacks that have some hybrid blood in them, but judging by how dart the tails and fins are, those are black slabs

@@mariojaviercasas6664 You're the troll here bud, not I. You should also know, Mr.SelfRighteous, that counting the dorsal spines is the proper way to identify crappie. A common mistake that I am also previously guilty of is calling those crappie “black crappie”. They are actually just make white crappie that are what’s referred to as “tuxedoed up”. They get black like that during the spawn!

I think they are the prettiest ones though.

I got trolled for calling them white crappie and correcting a common mistake...people have nothing better to do. I'm glad other people agree with me that they get like that during spawning time but they are white crappie. Thank you.
@JonBecker812 жыл бұрын
Those were all black crappie except for a few. Even when they aren’t dark like that they’re still black crappie. The white crappies just have the vertical stripes.

A weighted slip bobber can help a lot on windy days and let you be more accurate casting. And it provides less resistance to the fish so they don't feel it as easy.

Love crappies! Friend has a mount of three slabs that he caught by accident, he left his poles in his boat at his dock overnight and came down the next morning to find his rods had caught 3 giant crappies! They are one a stringer like yours.

I know that you guys at GOOGAN are making developing reels. Make sure that you guys have a trigger on your open face spinning reels. It's really nice to be able to cast with one hand and it is really nice to use when you do a lot of casting.
