A Huge Newfoundland Black Bear Flyby in Cessna 150

Flying over the long range mountains Here In Newfoundland Canada we spot a huge black bear...Newfoundland is know for its large black bears.

I remember driving to Bonne Bay back in the mid 70's. Dad was driving a Lincoln Mercury Marquis. This was before the road was paved and still gravel. A big black bear comes running out onto the road. Dad brakes but the car skids a bit on the gravel before he finally stops. The bear is up on his hindquarters and is so close to the front end of the car his paws come down on the hood. The back end of the car lifts up a bit, tires and all before bumping back down. bear-1, car-0.
