I found a Disney Twisted Tales retelling at a second hand book shop and bought it so fast! Hoping to collect the rest of them. I'm currently reading The Gilded Ones, I got it from the library and was so happy when I found they had it, it's so good so far!

A Taste for Love was a fun read for the most part! Predictably it makes you hungry reading about the pastries and food being made. What stuck with me the most was the main character's complicated relationship with her mother.

I sometimes have a problem with enemies-to-lovers trope because the characters are almost too annoying/mean/bad at the beginning when they are hating each other, and then it's hard for me to connect to one or both of them as a love interest. I hope that makes sense, but I think this trope has to be done carefully because sometimes I get so mad at them at the beginning that I can't really get over it and it never feels completely happy to me by the end.

I just finished Act Your Age, Eve Brown and I loved it! I felt so represented with this character and I loved that there was a plus-size protagonist with a positive outlook on her body and has the confidence to show it.

I’ve read Honey Girl and the best description would be a coming of age story instead of a sapphic romance at the forefront. The romance was definitely a small subplot and was quite surface level to me. I rated it 3 stars for the coming of age aspect.

I really liked the audiobook for the ex talk, but them talking in the radio show wasn't too prevalent and they don't do too much with that so if you're looking for that you might be disappointed, but it's lovely otherwise! Love the video💕

Hi! I've read The Ex Talk via audiobook. For me, it was okay. It was a bit annoying to listen to it when Shay and Dominic is doing the podcast because the audiobook reader kept on saying Shay Goldstein then her words. Then Dominic Hyun then read his words. It was kinda annoying for me to listen to their names again and again. I think it's just me. 😅

Super disappointed in Klara and the Sun. Ended up giving it two stars. Ugh. The writing was stilted and the story was derivative of a bunch of SCI FI tropes.
