Hi Kevin! Your snow and house are beautiful! Yes, I am from and live in Maine and I love snow! It’s so magical! We finally have 6-8 inches now covering the trees and ground! I planted Iris last fall and want the snow to cover them for protection! Hopefully they will get through their first winter! Love your program and recipes! I am making Borscht soup today with pork, (cooked in water for 130 minutes),carrots, garlic, potatoes, betts, and cabbage! Served with sour cream! Nice in the summer cold or hot on a snowy cold day! I learned this from a Russian friend in Geneva Switzerland when I was learning to cook! Now, at 83, I love making Borscht soup!

Beautiful winter wonderland. Pasta dish looked lovely. Might be good using ham instead of bacon. Love garlic bread (and red wine) but make mine a little differently. I don't melt the butter and add dry basil not parsley. It's what my mom did.

Light and fluffy snow, yes. Blizzards and ice, hard no. In the Ohio River Valley we're at single digit F temps and some rural areas are like skating rinks. That said, my heart is heavy for those affected and lost so much with the hurricanes and fires and wars. I grew up in Orange County in the lower Hudson Valley. The fresh snowfall is so beautiful and peaceful but I did not like have to drive to work in it. The pasta dish looks delicious but I can almost taste and smell that garlic bread.
