A retrospective on the whole human artist vs ai artist from my POV. This video isn't for everyone but more is me talking about my recent journey with grind culture. I'm taking it slower now and looking for the things i enjoy about making art the most!

I've been in a deep art block the last few months resulting from intense pressue I put on top of myself. I'm coming out of my cave now to talk about that experience, how I spotted what was harming me, and how I'm moving forward now!
I plan to make more videos in the future- subscribe if you want to stick around to see them!

"The process should be the reward." I got to the same conclusion a little while ago and it really helped rekindle my love for art. Going back to traditional art also helped. The tactile feeling really helps make things feel real again after making art *for* the internet for so long. And this is such a cute piece!!! I love the colors so much.

I’m so glad you’re reconnecting with your art 💕 Doing things more physical like traditional would probably help me too! And Tysm I really enjoyed drawing this piece 🌸

Initially when it just started to be a thing I did some AI generated images and thought "hey thats pretty cool" but when I learned how it takes art from other people I felt kind of icky and over time I was wondering "hey how hard can drawing/art be" the answer is very hard. Art is extremly hard esp if you are going in with little to no knowledge but I started to fall in love with Art, with creating, as bad as my art may look to others and myself creating something activly yourself is an amazing thing. I think the validation that you get from other people for posting art or the AI images on social media is a nice thing but it scratches a fundamentally differently part in the brain than the fullfilment I get from working/creating something

I really don't care about AI or likes or anything... I used to love art and drawing... And I always did it for the sake of having fun... But lately I only stress myself and compare myself to others nonstop... I want to enjoy art... because I literally have nothing else to do than drawing... People say oh just stop drawing you're having a burnout! I physically can't! It's the only thing I do! And every time I start drawing all I see are the flaws and mistakes that I can't fix no matter how many times I draw that pose... All I want is to draw for the sake of drawing like how I was used to as a kid...even if I couldn't draw a simple circle I was proud of what I made even if it was so bad...I even wanted to go to a therapist for this but we sorta couldn't pay for it...

I've been trying. I've been trying to enjoy the proces of art SO MUCH, but It's so hard lateley, I feel like I HAVE to complete projects I set for myself even if I don't have the energy. I'm considering just, going back to drawing like I did when I was a kid. not share it online, no nothing, but its also hard. I guess im kinda thinking like an Aibro, that things should be finished as fast as possible and posted for reach, and I hate it. I wish I could go back to enjoying art. I don't even know why don't enjoy it as much anymore. I guess things will work out eventually. At least I hope they do.

I totally get it. I think everyone has their own process for getting out of a funk and falling back in love with their art. I know you will find it too, just give yourself time and dont be too hard on yourself

Great to see you back! Yeah, AI art is a burden for us trying to get our stuff looked at. But like you said, best to make art for yourself and be your authentic self. People will follow suit. :) Looking forward to more videos and art from you!
