Why not take most of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn? Large slow orbit during construction, debris fields for extra materials and short arrival time from a nearby Mars colony would be plenty of reason for expediting a supercarriers build. 37 moons and an angry mac cannon and defense network should be easily available to assist and train the entirety of the carriers squadron.

Assuming we have the ability to convert the mass of a planet to usable materials, Mercury would've built dozens of supercarriers on it's own. The mass of a carrier, even large enough to eclipse the sun (dependent on viewing angle) is going to be less than a planet. I believe Isaac Arthur did several vids on converting planets to O'Neil cylinders, enough cylinders to build a Dyson Swarm around the sun with more living space than the surface area of Earth hundreds of times over.

Asteroids are fully sufficient for building really massiv vehicles. Smaller ones, like the moons of mars, could even be hollowed and equiped with antimatter drives. Imagine such a starship: debris collisions will go nearly unnoticed.

Reminds me of the Dahak series by David Weber where the Dahak class ships were so large that the flagship, Dahak, destroyed the Earth's moon and took its place.

Spy master: that is a terran dreadnought, the Alien general is dumbstruck with the sight, it can easily turn a planet to ruble and is a fifth the size of their biggest ship. Alien general, Writhing a message to his superiors, on the possibility of war with the terrans, recent information makes such outcome suicidal, if intention to proceed remains i will resign, i do not wish to contribute to such a massive folly.

The First video got an up vote the other 2 got down votes and yes I went by date they were posted...... My Question: overlap...?? Just another word for copying someone else AS THE 1st STORY CAME FROM SOMEONE 1st...... Then other found it and made their backgrounds and text on it then posted it.... that is a copy not an overlap I'm 62 old school we don't play that word game crap...... @@I.C.U-c7l I have seen/listened to this a few times. But I listen to it to get an idea of how it is read, maybe I will listen to the reader again or maybe not. It all depends on if I like it or not.
